CLARUS Series Transmitters: CLARUS I, CLARUS VI, CLARUS XII
1. Description
The CLARUS I, VI, and XII are 3-button transmitters operating at 433.92 MHz, controlled by a SAW, featuring innovative variable coding. This coding provides over 18 billion billion combinations, ensuring security, absence of unwanted activation, and operation with three buttons: OPEN, STOP, CLOSE.
In combination with CLARUS series control units (e.g., PROXIMA, HELIOS PROX), it is possible to achieve a simple and user-friendly system for enhanced domestic comfort and control.
LED Indicators:
- Channel Indication (1-12): The LED corresponding to the selected transmission channel flashes rapidly when battery levels are optimal. A slow flash indicates that the batteries are discharged and need to be replaced.
Group Function: When switching from channel 12 (or channel 6 for CLARUS VI) to channel 1 or vice versa, the group function is activated. This is indicated by the simultaneous illumination of all channel LEDs. Pressing a control button (UP-STOP-DOWN) will activate the function by automatically sending the selected command sequentially for 1.5 seconds across all channels. The transmitting channel illuminates with high brightness, while others have reduced brightness to indicate the function is active. Pressing any button blocks the transmission sequence.
2. Transmitter Screen Printing
The transmitters feature screen printing indicating the function of each button and LED. The CLARUS I, VI, and XII models have slightly different layouts for channel selection and menu access.
CLARUS I Screen Printing: Features buttons for OPEN, STOP, CLOSE, and a CHANNEL SELECTION button which also serves for menu entry.
CLARUS VI Screen Printing: Similar to CLARUS I, with buttons for OPEN, STOP, CLOSE, and CHANNEL SELECTION.
CLARUS XII Screen Printing: Features buttons for OPEN, STOP, CLOSE, and CHANNEL SELECTION, with 12 distinct channels indicated.
Menu Options
- Open Memory: This function allows the opening of the memory of ALL devices within range of the transmitter, provided the selected CANAL was previously learned.
- Erase Single Channel: This function allows the erasure of the selected SINGLE CANAL from the memory of ALL devices within range, provided the selected CANAL was previously learned.
- Erase Transmitter: This function allows the erasure of the TRANSMITTER from the memory of ALL devices within range, provided one of its channels was previously learned.
- Auxiliary Function: A general auxiliary function.
3. Configuration Menu
CLARUS I: To enter the configuration menu, simultaneously press the OPEN and CLOSE buttons for 10 seconds. After 5 seconds, the 'M' LED will light up, indicating entry into the menu. A single press of the OPEN or CLOSE button selects an option. To transmit the relative signal for the selected option, press the central STOP button.
Example: Selecting the "Open Memory" option will transmit a signal that opens the memory of all devices where this remote control has been memorized.
CLARUS VI, XII: Select the desired channel. To enter the configuration menu, simultaneously press the channel selection buttons for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, the 'M' LED will light up, indicating entry into the menu. A single press of the channel selection buttons selects an option. To transmit the relative signal for the selected option, press the central STOP button.
Example: Selecting the "Erase Selected Channel" option will transmit a signal that erases channel 1 in all devices within range where this channel was memorized.
Exiting Configuration Menu:
- CLARUS I: The menu exits automatically after 10 seconds of inactivity, or by simultaneously pressing the OPEN and CLOSE buttons for 3 seconds.
- CLARUS VI & XII: The menu can be exited immediately by pressing the OPEN or CLOSE button.
4. Battery Replacement
- Slide the cover downwards as shown in the diagram.
- Insert new batteries, observing the + and - polarity symbols.
- Replace the cover.
IMPORTANT: Do not dispose of used batteries with common household waste. They must be taken to designated collection points.
