O-Kam Pro Solar IP WiFi Camera: Installation & Mobile Setup Guide

Introduction

This guide provides instructions for installing the Szsinocam camera system and its mobile application. The O-Kam Pro app allows for remote system management, live monitoring of camera feeds, and receiving notifications for any disturbances.

Under the silicone cover on the bottom of the camera, you will find the power switch (on/off), a reset button, a micro SD card slot, and the charging port for a USB charger or solar panel.

It is recommended to test all camera functions at home before final installation in its intended outdoor location.

After unboxing, fully charge the camera using a USB charger. Then, proceed with installation and pairing with your Wi-Fi network. Use your phone to check if the installation location has sufficient Wi-Fi signal coverage.

Application Setup

1. Install the O-Kam Pro application on your mobile phone.
2. Launch the O-Kam Pro application.
3. On the welcome screen, select 'Register'.

Adding the Camera

1. Turn the camera on using the 'On' switch. You will hear a voice confirmation of configuration, and the blue and green LED lights on the front will flash.
2. On the application's welcome screen, tap the '+' icon, then scan the QR code located on the bottom of the camera.
3. On the 'Connect Wi-Fi' screen, select your Wi-Fi network name and enter the password. Tap 'NEXT'.
4. Confirm your selection by tapping 'Confirm'.
5. A QR code will now be displayed on your phone.
6. Hold the displayed QR code in front of the camera, moving it slowly within a distance of 15-30 cm until you hear the 'Connect Wi-Fi' announcement.
7. After connection confirmation, tap the 'AP hotspot configuration' button.
8. On the next screen, you can name the camera (e.g., Garage, Workshop, etc.). Confirm your choice by tapping 'Get Started'.
9. On the following page, tap 'Next' to search for the signal, then tap 'Done & Get Started'.
10. This completes the process, and you can now start using the camera.
