- Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone and allow the app access. The app should automatically detect your camera on the home page and display an option for a new connection. Click "Connect". By tapping the device add buttons, the app searches for the camera's Bluetooth connection. If no popup appears, reset the camera according to the instructions on page 11.
- Skip this step if you successfully completed step 5.1. If Bluetooth search on your smartphone does not work, tap the device add buttons (+ Add or +) and scan the QR code sticker on the back of the camera. The app will then prompt you to look for a voice prompt or an indicator light. This camera has no speaker. Therefore, click Next when the indicator light is blinking blue slowly.
- Enter the name and password of your private Wi-Fi network. Please ensure both details are correct to ensure a successful connection. Even a missing space can cause the connection to fail. 5G Wi-Fi offers higher speeds, while 2.4G offers greater range. Please select a strong and stable Wi-Fi connection based on your Wi-Fi router and the camera's location.
- The system will complete the setup in 1 minute. Give your new camera a name so you can manage it more easily.
- In the final step, give your camera a name. The app checks the Wi-Fi signal strength at the camera's location. Please enable sound for phone notifications and motion detection to receive notifications immediately. You can change these settings later.

- Wi-Fi Setup Problems
- Ensure your Wi-Fi router's SSID is visible, DHCP is enabled, and there are no restrictions on the guest network.
- Check if the router currently provides good and stable internet access.
- Move the camera closer to your router to improve signal strength.
- Check if the Wi-Fi name and password were entered correctly – even a missing space can cause connection errors.
Video Storage
You can subscribe to cloud storage, use a Micro-SD card (TF card), or use both.
Cloud Storage
Cloud storage only saves motion videos. Motion videos are stored in the cloud when motion detection and cloud video recording are enabled. More information can be found on page 16.
Subscribe to cloud storage via the "Cloud Storage" button on the main page. Each cloud storage subscription applies to one camera.
Cloud Storage Plan Features:
- Motion Video Storage
- Offline Playback of the camera
- No space limitation
- No risk of damage
- Easily Accessible
- Unlimited
- Secure
- Local
Memory Card Storage
- Power Saving Mode: The memory card stores motion detection videos.
- Intelligent Sleep Mode: When the battery is over 40%, continuous recording is saved to the memory card.
Micro-SD cards (TF) up to 256 GB are supported. Format the card before first use in the TF settings of video recording in the app. Always insert or remove the memory card when the camera is turned off.
Note: A Micro-SD card may be included depending on your order.
Recordings
With the "Video Recording" button in the live view, manually recorded videos are saved directly to your smartphone's default album app (Photos or Gallery).
These recordings can also be found under "Recordings" on the "My" page of O-KAM Pro (bottom in navigation).
Playback
Path to access cloud and card videos:
- Playback icon on the main page
- Select "Cloud Playback" or "TF Card" below.
The app displays cloud or card videos in the list for today by default. If you select a different date, simply click the calendar in the middle left of the same page.
Charging
The charging port is on the bottom of the camera. Open the small silicone cover labeled "IN 5V". Use the included USB-C cable and a certified 5V adapter for charging.
Charging takes 5 hours. Avoid using a USB port on a computer, as it may not supply enough power.
More frequent motion detection and live view checks consume more battery power. Battery life can vary greatly depending on camera positioning.
Sharing
First, ask your family or friends to download the O-KAM Pro app and register their own accounts. Then, click the "Share" button to display the QR code for sharing your camera. You can find this on the settings page or by expanding the options via the ellipsis button on the main page.
Finally, they can tap "+ Add" or "+" in their O-KAM Pro account and scan the sharing QR code on your smartphone to add the shared camera.
Motion Detection
Motion videos are stored in both cloud storage and on the microSD card (TF card). Motion detection is enabled by default. You can turn it on or off on the settings page under "Surveillance Function". Please enable body detection to filter out non-human activities. Under "Recording Duration", set the length of video clips for motion detection recordings.
Detection Schedule
By default, when motion detection is enabled, the camera detects motion all day. Use "Intelligent Inspection" and "Time Setting" in the "Surveillance Function" to set detection for day, night, or a custom period (specific hours on selected days of the week).
FAQ
1. Battery Issues
The camera has a 5200 mAh battery. Motion detection, continuous recording, and retrieving live view consume more power. Battery life depends on the location of use and typically lasts 1 to 6 months.
Intelligent Sleep Mode continuously records to the memory card and therefore consumes more power. With continuous recording, the battery lasts about 22 hours.
To make batteries last longer:
- Enable Power Saving Mode.
- Avoid pointing the camera at areas with frequent but unimportant motion.
- Enable Body Detection for security-relevant detection.
- Set a Detection Schedule, Activity Zone, or both.
- Use the live view in the app only when needed.
2. Video Recording Issues
This camera records different types of videos. Storage of motion videos requires either a Micro-SD card (TF) or a cloud storage subscription. More information about storage can be found on page 12.
Like most battery-powered surveillance cameras, this camera uses a PIR motion sensor:
- It detects motion based on body heat.
- Movements of small animals may be overlooked.
- Fast objects may sometimes not be detected.
- In hot areas, alarms may be missed or false alarms triggered.
- Does not work through windows.
- The front of the camera must not be covered.
- Ensure the camera is pointed at an open area.
With a weak Wi-Fi connection, cloud storage and notifications may not function. However, the camera will continue to record videos and save them to the memory card. You can remove the memory card and use a card reader to view the videos on a computer, or reconnect the camera to use playback via the app.
