Product Overview
Description of the front and rear handles, digital area, fingerprint area, keyhole, and emergency power port.
Front Handle: Features a digital area for keypad input and a fingerprint recognition area.
Rear Handle: Contains setup keys (reset key) and the battery pack.
Keyhole: Located on the front handle, for physical key access.
Emergency Power Port: A 5V Type-C port for emergency power supply (not rechargeable).

Installation Tutorial
1. Top View Of Door Opening Direction
Illustrations show door opening directions: Left Inwards, Right Inwards, Left Outwards, Right Outwards.
Visuals also depict opening the door with the left hand and the right hand.
2. Measuring The Door
Specifications for door thickness (30-55mm), door opening diameter (54mm / 2.12in), and distance from lock body to back of bolt (60/70mm).
⚠️ Suitable for 30-55mm thick doors. If over this range, please contact us for more information.
3. Installation Of Buckle Box And Buckle Plate
(1) Drill holes to a minimum depth of 15mm to allow latch space for the cam to fit.
(2) Secure the Strike Box and Strike Plate to the door frame with two screws.
4. Adjustment Of Latch
Select or adjust the appropriate latch (60mm or 70mm) according to the locking holes size.
To adjust the 70mm Latch: fix the front of the Latch and pull the square lever to the right.
Correct State: Green checkmark ✔️. Error State: Red cross ❌.
Ensure the square bar is correct after adjustment.
5. Installing Latch
(1) Secure the Latch to the door frame with two pointed-tail screws.
(2) Check the Latch for smoothness with a square rod.
6. Installation Of Door Locks
(1) Select the appropriate mounting studs for the door thickness (30-40mm or 41-55mm).
(2) Install each of the three selected studs on the front panel.
(3) Select the appropriate Square Spindle for the door thickness.
(4) To replace the square rod, use a small screwdriver to push on the square rod latch to remove it.
(5) To replace the square rod, press the square rod pin with a screwdriver and insert it downward.
⚠️ The arrow points in the direction of the green dot.
(6) Before installing the handle, rotate the toggle head arrow toward the screw hole position.
⚠️ Pay attention to the direction.
(7) Align the door hole and pass the handle through the latch (the main cord passes under the latch).
(8) Unscrew the screw at the end of the rear handle with a screwdriver and remove the battery cover.
(9) Insert the main cord and tuck it back into the door frame below the latch and fasten the rear handle.
(10) Tighten the rear handle with two 40mm flat-tailed screws.
(11) Insert four LR6 AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment, noting the orientation.
(12) Observe the battery compartment to distinguish mounting direction.
⚠️ Note the battery cover snap position.
(13) Align the battery compartment snap position carefully.
(14) Tighten the rear handle battery cover with a 13mm flat-tailed screw.
7. Use Of Locking Caps
(1) Clasp the front handle cover and drag it outward.
(2) Close the cover by rotating it left or right, then pressing it inward.
Caveats:
- Ensure wires are not pinched during installation.
- Rotating parts must operate smoothly.
- Use good quality, new alkaline batteries (all 4).
- A key is required to unlock the door; keep it safe.
- Replace batteries upon low voltage alarm; do not mix battery models or old/new batteries.
- Do not expose to sunlight or water; the lock is not IP rated.
- Keep fingers clean and dry when using the lock.
- Maintain a distance of 5-10 meters from the door lock when using the Bluetooth APP.
Using the Tuya App
"Tuya Intelligent” App is an intelligent management app for consumers. It allows configuration and control of smart home products, setting up scenarios and automation, sharing devices, and enjoying whole-house intelligence.
Download the App: Search for "Tuya Smart" in Android App Market or Apple Store, or scan the QR code ?.
Note: This document uses Smart Life App as an example.
1. App Registration And Login
(1) No account: register or login via SMS verification code.
(2) Click 【Create New Account】, enter registration page, follow prompts for SMS verification and password setting.
(3) Existing Account: Click 【Use Existing Account】 to log in, supporting password, CAPTCHA, and social account login.
2. Add Bluetooth Door Locks
Bluetooth must be enabled on your phone first.
(1) In the App home page, click the 【Add Device】 icon ➕.
(2) Wake up the door lock by pressing number keys, wait for the phone to scan, select 【Add】, then press the ➕ icon to add the device.
(3) Wait for the device to be added. The smart lock interface will indicate successful addition.
If you cannot match the door lock, please initialize the door lock (See P.30).
3. Bluetooth Door Lock Home
The homepage displays the device name and battery status. Options include 【Door Opening Record】, 【Temporary Code】, 【Member Management】, 【Smart Linkage】, and 【Settings】.
The center shows Bluetooth connection status. Slide right (→) to open, left (←) to close (ensure Bluetooth is on and within 5 meters). If not connected, it indicates Bluetooth cannot be connected.
4. Temporary Password Creation And Deletion
(1) Click the 【Temporary Code】 icon.
(2) Enter the 【Temporary Unlock】 interface, select password type, and enter a 6-10 digit password (avoiding same or consecutive digits, e.g., 000000 or 123456).
(3) Select effective time, expiry time, and enter a password name.
To delete: Click 【Temporary Code】 → 【Records】 → select the code → 【Delete】 → 【OK】.
5. Member Management - Administrator Add
(1) In 【Member Management】, click ➕, select 【Add Member】, enter member name and Tuya account, select permissions, and click 【Save】 to add an administrator. The account must be a registered Tuya account.
(2) Added accounts receive an invitation message in their Tuya App; accepting grants device management rights.
⚠️ Users who add accounts are defaulted to administrator privileges.
6. Member Management - Ordinary Members Added
Click (+) in the upper-right corner, select 【Add Member】, enter member name. No account number is needed. Click save to add a general member user.
⚠️ Users who add accounts have normal user permissions by default.
7. Fingerprint Management
To add a fingerprint, place your finger on the recognition area multiple times, ensuring full contact and varying angles.
Use clean, dry fingers. The belly of the finger is used for scanning.
Multiple fingerprints can be scanned for the same user.
After selecting a family member, click 【Fingerprint】 → 【Add】.
Click 【Start Capture】 to begin. Each fingerprint needs 5 captures. A green light indicates success.
Fingerprint unlocking: Green light ✔️ for success, Red light ❌ for failure.
8. Password Management
Navigate to 【Member Management】 → select family member → 【Code】 → 【Add】.
Enter a 6-10 digit password (not the same or consecutive numbers). Click 【Save】.
9. Normally Open Mode And Antilock Setting
Go to 【Settings】:
Free Passage Mode: Turn On/Off. When ON, the lock is not locked, allowing entry/exit anytime. It turns OFF by default after a fingerprint verification. Can also be turned off via the app or by sliding the door lock left (←).
Anti-lock: Turn On/Off. When ON, only the administrator can unlock the door after it's opened/unlocked. Ordinary members cannot unlock. Anti-lock turns OFF by default after administrator unlocks.
Auto lock delay time set: Choose auto lock time.
⚠️ [Free Passage Mode] and [Anti-lock] cannot be enabled simultaneously. Enabling one automatically disables the other.
10. Deletion Of Family Members
Click 【Me】 → 【Home Management】 → select family member to delete or change access rights.
11. Open Door Record And Equipment Alarm
Tap the ⚠️ icon to view door opening records and alarms.
Records and alarms display in real-time when connected via Bluetooth. Otherwise, they are cached locally and transmitted later.
12. Restore Factory Settings
Click the ⚙️ icon → 【Remove Device】 → 【Disconnect and wipe data】 → 【Confirm】.
When connected via Bluetooth, local opening methods are cleared, and the lock resets to factory state. Other users can re-match.
If not connected via Bluetooth, the lock retains data, but re-pairing invalidates original data.
Local Operation Settings
Users default to Administrator. Register regular members via the app. If the administrator is recorded, re-verification is needed. In experience mode (no registered user), any fingerprint unlocks the lock. Registered users require valid fingerprints.
Note: Using the App is more convenient than local operation programming.
1. Add Fingerprint
Flowchart: Wake Up → Flash Of Blue Light → Verification Administrator → Green Light On → Fingerprinting (5 Times) → Success (Green Light On) / Failure (Red Light Blinking).
Complete entry of five fingerprint areas with 99.9% success rate!
- Use the belly of the finger, not the fingertip.
- Scan from multiple angles.
- Multiple fingerprints can be scanned for the same user.
- Keep fingers clean, not too dry or too wet.
2. Add Password
Flowchart: Wake Up → Flash Of Blue Light → Verification Administrator → Green Light On → Enter Password Confirm With [#] Key → Success (Green Light On) / Failure (Red Light Blinking).
⚠️ The password length is 6 digits and must be entered twice, identically.
3. Volume Adjustment
Flowchart: Wake Up → Flash Of Blue Light → Verification Administrator → Green Light On → One Beeps.
Volume adjustment: 【1】 Low, 【2】 Medium, 【3】 High, 【0】 Mute.
4. Virtual Password
Anti-snooping password: Users can enter random numbers before or after the unlock code to prevent exposure. Total length is 26 digits.
Example: [Random number] [Unlock code] [Random number]
Door Lock Use Guide
1. Open/Close Lock
Enter Fingerprints: The Light Is Green → Validation Failure / Verification Success (5 S Later) → Automatic Locking.
2. Quick Entry
Setting Key Press 3S: Green Light Flashing → Verify Administrator (When There Is No Administrator, Press Any Fingerprint) → Blue Light Always On → Fingerprinting (5 Entries) → Success (Green Light Blinking) / Failure (Red Light Blinking).
Diagrams show the setting key and the fingerprint sensor.
3. Password Unlocking
Input Password Press [#]: One Beep Green Light → Unlocked Successfully → 5S Blue Light On Then Off → Automatic Locking.
4. Key Unlocking
Rotate the key 90 degrees and press the handle to unlock/lock the door.
5. Automatic Locking
After 5 seconds of unlocking, the device will automatically lock.
⚠️ When the App is not connected or user information is entered, any fingerprint, card, or password [123456#] will unlock the device.
If the lock beeps 3 times and the red light comes on, unlocking has failed; try again.
6. "Normally Open" Mode Setting
Wake up the door lock: Input 【28#】 to verify the administrator successfully, which quickly turns "Normally Open" mode on and off.
⚠️ Switch from "Normally Open" mode to "Auto Lock" mode and vice versa.
Any valid user can unlock the door, and it will switch to "Auto Lock" mode.
Press the [#] key on the outer handle to switch to "Auto Lock" mode.
7. Forced Initialization
Method 1: Reset Key → Press 5 S Blue Light Blinks → Red light Blinking → Release → Green Light Flashing → Initialization Successful.
Method 2: Wake up the door lock: Enter 【888#】 to verify the administrator to force the door lock to initialize.
8. Emergency Power Supply
When the battery is low, use the Rechargeable Plug Emergency Power Supply (Not rechargeable!).
