Ball Lock Function Description
Manipulate
⚙️ Fingerprint setting at the lock end:
Press the setup key inside the small hole next to the normally open button on the rear panel. After verifying the administrator's success (any fingerprints in the initial state), enroll fingerprints five times. The voice announcement will be "Entered successfully".
▶️ Normally Open Mode:
Tap the normally open button on the rear panel (the larger button next to the setup button). The voice announces "Normally Open Mode". Tap it again to close the normally open mode.
?️ Switching language:
Long press the normally open button on the rear panel for 5 seconds. The purple light of the fingerprint head will be always on. Wait for the fingerprint head to let go when the green light is on to switch the voice. Repeat the steps once again to switch another language. (The app can switch the language more easily).

After successful fingerprint verification, the voice announcement is "unlocked". Twist the front ball to unlock.
? USB emergency power supply:
When the lock battery is depleted, use the rechargeable treasure with a Type-C connecting cable to power up the front lock via the emergency port under the front panel. Press the fingerprint to unlock the lock.
? Restore Factory Settings:
Long press the setup key. Release when you see the red light on the fingerprint head, then see the green light on. The voice announces "Factory Settings have been restored".
⚠️ Trial and Error Alarm:
Validation error 3 times triggers a drip sound reminder. Validation error 5 times locks the system for three minutes, after which it automatically lifts.
? Low battery alarm:
A low voltage alarm sounds when the battery level is lower than 4.8V.
TUYA App Operating Instructions
APP Installation
Download and install the "TUYASmart" app from the app market. After installation, follow the prompts to register and log in.
Distribution Network Connection Lock
Starting the distribution process: If no fingerprint is set, press any fingerprint to enter distribution mode. If fingerprints are already enrolled, the machine automatically enters distribution mode.
Adding the device via App: Open the TUYA app. You can add devices through manual or auto-discovery windows. Once the device enters distribution mode, the app will automatically pop up the discovery device window. If this does not happen, press the fingerprint once to wake up the fingerprint lock device and enable Bluetooth broadcast. Refer to "Tuya Operation FAQ" for details.
Add Fingerprint
To add a fingerprint, click on "Member Management", select the user, and follow the on-screen prompts.
The app interface shows:
- A main device screen with options like "Member Management", "Smart Scenes", and "more".
- A "Members" list displaying "Me Admin" and associated phone numbers.
- The "Me Admin" details screen, showing "Fingerprint" with an "+ Add" option.
- A "How to Add Fingerprint" guide illustrating placing a finger on the lock's recognition area multiple times.
- An "Add Fingerprint" screen instructing the user to slightly adjust the finger's angle on the sensor for recording, and advising the use of clean, dry fingers with clear prints.
Delete Fingerprints
To delete fingerprints, click "Member Management", select the user, choose the fingerprints to delete, click the "Delete Fingerprints" button, and confirm. A pop-up window will confirm successful deletion. Click "Cancel" to return.
The app interface shows:
- The "Me Admin" details screen with existing fingerprints listed.
- A "Change" screen where a specific fingerprint can be selected, showing its name (e.g., "Finger100") and a "delete" button.
- A confirmation dialog box asking "Delete Fingerprint?" with "Cancel" and "OK" options.
⚙️ More Settings
- Automatic lock off: This setting can be configured from 5 seconds to 30 minutes.
- ?️ Anti-Lock Setting: When "Anti-Lock" is turned on, only the first three registered administrator fingerprints can unlock the door. When "Anti-Lock" is turned off, all registered fingerprints can unlock the door. The app interface shows a toggle switch for this setting.
- ? Door lock volume: Volume levels can be adjusted to "treble", "normal", "bass", or "mute". The app interface displays these options for selection.
- ? Lock Language: The lock's voice prompts can be set to Chinese, English, Portuguese, Russian, Thai, Spanish, or Vietnamese. The app interface provides a selection menu for these languages.
Restore Factory Settings & Disconnect
? APP Unbinding
Click "disconnect and clear data" to unbind the device and clear its data. If the app is not connected to the lock, unbinding can also be performed remotely. The device will be restored to factory settings the next time it is searched by the Tuya app.
The app interface shows:
- A device screen with options like "Device Information", "General Settings", and "Remove Device".
- A "Disconnect and wipe data" confirmation prompt, warning that the device will be removed from the list and reset to factory settings, with all related data wiped. It includes "Cancel" and "Confirm" buttons.
Tuya Operations FAQ
- Unlocking method: Supports fingerprint unlocking and Tuya APP unlocking.
- Bluetooth pairing: If the device is not registered for fingerprint recording, it will not automatically turn on Bluetooth pairing mode. Pressing the fingerprint before connecting is required to wake up the device and enable network mode for 1 minute.
- Data erasure: All data on the device will be erased when the lock is restored to its factory settings.
