Please read the following instructions before using the device for the first time:
- Keep the device away from heat sources (fire) and humidity sources (water and other liquids).
- Do not use the product if it is wet or damaged.

- Do not expose the product to high temperatures (e.g., inside a car during hot weather).

- Disconnect or switch off the product if you are not going to use it for a long period of time.
- Do not use the device if you perceive any visible defects.
- Do not attempt to open or puncture the product, as you might damage it.
- Do not use the product with incompatible devices.
- To prevent device failure, fire, and explosion, never place the smartwatch or its accessories in extremely high or extremely low temperature areas.
- To prevent device damage, accessory damage, and device failure, always protect the device against strong impact or shock.
- Do not disassemble or modify the device or its accessories without authorization. Any device failure should be referred to after-sales service personnel.
- The smartwatch heart rate and blood oxygen data should not be used as the basis for any medical or diagnostic decision.
- Only qualified medical personnel can diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease and high blood pressure problems. Contact your medical centre for a medical opinion and do not treat or diagnose yourself.
- The smartwatch heart rate and blood oxygen data may not be accurate due to factors such as signal interference, improper placement of the device, or weather or physiological changes.
- Do not use the smartwatch data to modify your medication or medical treatment. Follow the instructions provided by authorised medical personnel.
- The watch is not suitable for hot baths, hot springs, saunas, snorkelling, diving, water skiing, and other wading or deep-water activities with high-speed water flow.

Overview
The Kogan Pulse 3 Smart Watch features a circular display on the front. The back of the watch includes magnetic charging pins, a speaker, and a microphone. There are two physical buttons: a top button, also known as the home button, and a lower button.

App Installation
Download the Da Fit app
Download the Da Fit app from the iOS App Store or the Google Play store. You can also scan the QR code provided in the document. Alternatively, type "Da Fit" into the Google Play or App Store search engine.
Register in the app
Registering in the app is straightforward:
- Once the app is installed, access it. The profile screen will appear, prompting you to enter details such as Gender, Birthday, Height, and Weight.
- Set all the parameters. Once done, you are ready to proceed.
- Ensure you accept all the permissions that the app requests for optimal functionality.
Pairing iOS / Android Devices
- Enable your smartphone's Bluetooth.
- Enter the Da Fit app and tap on the bottom middle icon to access the device section.
- Tap on the "Add a device" option. The available devices list will appear. Tap on "Pulse 3".
- Once you tap on the device, the pairing process will start. Ensure the watch is close to your smartphone during this process.
- A Bluetooth pairing request message will pop up on your smartphone. Make sure to accept the pairing.
Operation
How to Attach and Remove Straps
Although only one strap is included, it can be attached and removed easily. The shorter strap must be placed in the display's top slot, and the longer strap in the bottom slot to avoid damage.
- To remove a strap: Depress the release mechanism near the connection point, slide out the quick-release pins, and repeat for both sides if necessary.
- To attach a strap: Align the quick-release pins with the slots on the watch case, slide the pins into place, and confirm a secure fit.
Charging
The smartwatch's full charge time is approximately 3.5 hours, and the battery can last up to 4-6 days depending on usage. Use the included 45 cm USB-A cable with the magnetic charging port. Connect the USB-A connector to a charger, computer output, or power bank, and place the magnetic port on the back of the watch to connect to the 2 pins.
Power On/Off
- To turn on the smartwatch, press and hold the top button for 4 seconds.
- To turn off the smartwatch, press and hold the top button for 4 seconds.
You can also power off, restart, or reset the smartwatch. Access the main menu, go to watch settings (⚙️ icon), scroll down to "System", and select your desired option (restart, power off, or reset).
About IP Protection Rating
The Pulse 3 smartwatch has an IP68 protection rating, meaning it can withstand submersion under water up to 2 meters for up to 30 minutes. Note: In case of swimming in the sea or a saltwater pool, rinse the watch with fresh water afterwards due to the corrosive effect of salt.
Touch Controls
It is important to accept all requested app permissions for optimal smartwatch functionality. Activate desired features within the Da Fit app's watch section.
- Swipe Left: From the main screen, swipe left to access the quick access menu. Add more functions by swiping left until the "+" option appears. Long press a quick access menu item and tap the red "-" icon to delete it.
- Swipe Down: From the main screen, swipe down to enter the options menu, which includes functions like Do Not Disturb, Settings, Low Power Mode, and Brightness. Tap an icon to access its option.
- Swipe Up: From the main screen, swipe up to view app notifications, missed calls, text messages, and other alerts.
- Swipe Right: From the main screen, swipe right to access the auxiliary menu, showing recently accessed app functions. You can also access the main menu from here by tapping the grey icon with 9 dots.

Buttons
Top Button (Home Button)
Press the top button to wake up or sleep the home screen. It can also be used to return to the main screen from any function or menu, or to turn off the smartwatch.
Lower Button
Press the lower button to access the smartwatch main menu.
Changing the Watch Face
There are three options for changing the watch face:
- On the Smartwatch: On the main screen, long-tap the display to see multiple watch faces. Tap the desired one to set it.
- Via Settings: Swipe down from the main screen to enter the options menu. Tap "Settings", then "Display", then "Watch Face".
- Via DaFit App: In the DaFit app, go to the device section and select "Watch Faces". You can choose from a variety of watch faces to download and set as your main screen theme.
You can also press the "Edit" button below a watch face to create your own using images stored on your phone.

Calls
The Pulse 3 smartwatch allows you to make, receive, answer, and reject calls using its built-in microphone and speaker.
Receiving, Answering, and Rejecting Calls
- Calls appear in real-time on the screen, and the watch vibrates.
- Accept calls by pressing the green icon ?, and reject by pressing the red icon.
- If a call is accepted, it can be ended by pressing the red icon. To reject an incoming call, tap the red icon before answering. A lost call notification will appear on the display.
Making Calls
There are three ways to make calls, accessible from the smartwatch main menu by tapping the green phone icon ?:
- Call a Contact: Choose up to 8 contacts from the "Favorite Contacts" option in the Da Fit app. Then, access the smartwatch main menu, tap the green phone icon ?, select "Contacts", and tap the desired contact to call.
- Dial Pad: Tap the dial pad option to enter a phone number. Once dialed, tap the phone icon ? to start the call.
- Recent Calls: Tap the "Recent Calls" option to view a log of made and received calls. Tap a contact or number to call them back.
Notifications
The smartwatch displays smartphone notifications from apps like WhatsApp, Gmail, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more. Ensure these are enabled through the Da Fit app. Access the "Notifications" option in the DaFit device section and enable them.

Voice Assistants
To use the voice assistant, access the auxiliary menu and tap "Talk after tap" at the top. Ensure your smartwatch is successfully synchronized with your smartphone via the DaFit app and that all necessary accesses are enabled.
Music Control
The smartwatch has a music control tool. Access it from the main menu by tapping the musical note icon ?. Options include:
- Play/Pause: Tap the icon to pause or play music.
- Previous song/Next song: Tap the previous or next icon.
- Increase/Decrease volume: Tap the speaker icon.
When paired with your smartphone, audio files and videos (including YouTube, WhatsApp voice notes, etc.) will play on the smartwatch. To prevent this, access watch settings, go to the "Phone call" option, and unselect "Media Audio".

Remote Camera Control
The Pulse 3 smartwatch allows you to take pictures remotely from your smartphone. Access the main menu, tap the camera icon ?. For both Android and iOS, the camera within the App must be selected for "Camera Control Mode". This feature does not work with the phone's built-in camera app. To take remote pictures, position your smartphone and tap the red circle inside the remote camera function on your smartwatch.
Find My Device
The Pulse 3 smartwatch has an anti-lost function. Access the main menu, tap the green radar icon ?. Tap the screen to make your phone sound. The DaFit app also offers this feature via the "Others" option in the device section.
Other Functions
The smartwatch offers a variety of other functions, including alarm, calculator, stopwatch, timer, weather, breathing exercises, and reminders.
Health
Sports
The Pulse 3 smartwatch monitors various sports activities. Access sport monitoring from the main menu by tapping the orange arm icon ?. You can choose a sport to monitor your physical activity, including steps, calories burned, heart rate, distance travelled, and pace.
To stop monitoring, tap the top button and then the stop icon. Sport data is saved on the smartwatch. Access this data by going to the main menu and tapping the red icon showing a paper and a weight ?.
You can add "Exercise" to the quick access menu by swiping left from the main screen until the "+" option appears.
Pedometer, Calories Burned and Distance Travelled
The smartwatch automatically registers steps taken, calories burned, and distance travelled. View this information by accessing the main menu and tapping the Activity icon (yellow, green, and orange). This data is also available via the quick access menu and in the Da Fit main section.
Heart Rate Monitor
The Pulse 3 smartwatch monitors heart rate automatically. You can set it to measure every 5, 10, 20, or 30 minutes via the DaFit device section, under "Others" (Full-day Heart Rate). To measure heart rate immediately, access the main menu, tap the red heart icon ❤️, and tap the screen. The heart beats per minute will be displayed after a few seconds. This feature is also accessible via the quick access menu.
Blood Oxygen Meter (SpO2)
Measure blood oxygen saturation levels instantly by accessing the main menu and tapping the red O₂ icon. Tap the screen to start measurement. After 60 seconds, your SpO2 data will be displayed, and the watch will vibrate. This data is also shown in the DaFit main section.
Sleep Monitor
The smartwatch tracks sleep time and quality, providing statistics. More detailed information is available in the DaFit app.
- In the smartwatch: Access the main menu and tap the purple moon icon ?. Your sleep time, including deep, light, REM sleep, and awake periods, will be displayed.
- In the app: Sleep data is also available in the DaFit main section, offering weekly and monthly records.
This function can also be added to the quick access menu.
Menstrual Cycle
The DaFit app allows setting menstrual cycle reminders. Enter the DaFit device section, access "Others", and find the "Physiological Cycle Reminder". You can set data like cycle days, menstrual days, last menstrual start date, and reminders. Access the physiological cycle calendar to view chronological data. Reminders will appear on the smartwatch; view them by accessing the main menu and tapping the red flower icon ?.
Menu View
There are 8 menu view options. To change this setting, enter watch settings, tap "Display", and scroll down to "Menu View".
App Connectivity
Connect to the Health App (iOS)
Activity data synchronizes to the Health app after connection. On iPhone, go to Health app -> Steps -> Data Sources Access -> DaFit (Switch it to on).
Connect to the Google Fit
Tap "Connect" to link with Google Fit. After connecting, steps will be synchronized to Google Fit.
Updating Watch Firmware
To update the watch firmware, open the DaFit app and tap "Device" -> "Upgrade".
Synchronising Data
To ensure no data is lost, sync your watch to the app regularly. Open the app and wait for confirmation. The watch stores records for the last 7 days (pedometer, distance, calories, sleep, etc.). Ensure to synchronize data at least every 7 days.
Cleaning & Care
- Clean the product regularly with a dry cloth. Ensure the product is unplugged or switched off before cleaning.
- Keep the product's ports and connectors clean from dust and dirt for proper connection.
- Avoid breaking the product; do not place objects on it or bend it with excessive force.
- If the product has a cable, do not bend or pull it with excessive force.
- Do not wet or immerse the product. Always keep it in a dry place away from moisture.
- When not in use, store the product in a clean, dry place away from moisture and dirt.
- If water enters the product, immediately disconnect it from any power source or connected device.
- Avoid bumps and drops that could damage the product.
- Do not use the product for any purpose other than its intended design.
- Recycle the product in accordance with local environmental rules and regulations.

Troubleshooting
