The BMA7118 is an Automotive Li-ion battery cell controller IC designed for dedicated, high-accuracy ADC per voltage measurement channel with high synchronization capability, essential for Equivalent Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS). This product family approach ensures pin compatibility and allows for software reuse, enabling cost-effective upgrades to EIS. The BMA7118 boasts low 5 mA current consumption, attributed to its integrated DC-to-DC converter. Its fully redundant and independent internal architecture achieves ASIL D Functional Safety.

Main Application Block Diagram
