Device Overview

The device consists of two main parts:

Visual Description: The main unit is an elongated oval shape with a small circular LED indicator and a recessed button labeled 'Reset'. Below the button, there are three vertical lines. A cable extends from the bottom of this unit, leading to a separate sensor probe. The probe is depicted as a rectangular block with a circular opening on one side and a connector on the other, attached to a wire.

4. Installing the Hama Smart Home App

To use all device functions, you need a smartphone/tablet and the Hama Smart Home app.

7. Integrating Devices into the Hama Smart Home App

Pairing the Central Control Unit

To pair the sensor with the Hama Smart Home App, you must first integrate a central control unit (e.g., 00176662, 00176637) into the app. Follow the hub's operating instructions.

Connecting the Sensor:

  1. Select your central control unit from the list of found devices in the app.
  2. The following screen appears: [App screen showing 'Zentrale' (Central Unit) with 'Online-Geräte: 0' and an option to add a device.]
  3. Press "Add secondary device" (or similar wording like "Untergerät hinzufügen").
  4. Confirm with "LED is already flashing" (or "LED blinkt bereits").
  5. In the "Find device" screen, the app will display devices found by the central unit.
  6. The search takes approximately 15 seconds; it may take up to 2 minutes with poor connection or long distance.
  7. Press "Done" (or "Fertigstellung") once devices are found.

8. Setting Options

The following settings can be configured in the app:

9. Extended Usage Options with Scenarios

Scenarios and automated sequences in the app enable various combination and usage options with other SmartHome products. Programming is done via the app.
