Warnings
- Do not use sharp objects to press the LCD panel of the alarm clock and avoid pressing it forcefully, as this may damage the panel.
- The LCD panel of the alarm clock is made of glass. Applying strong pressure to the panel may cause cracks.
- If the LCD panel of the watch becomes dirty, wipe it with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive materials, gasoline, or other cleaning agents.
- The alarm clock contains high-tech electronic components. Avoid placing it in areas with strong electromagnetic fields, extreme temperatures, or heavy vibration.
- High temperatures can affect battery life. Avoid placing the alarm clock near heating radiators, in direct sunlight, or in other high-temperature locations.
- Do not install the alarm clock in a bathroom or other high-humidity areas.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the alarm clock for repair.
Backlight
Lightly touching the alarm clock panel activates the display backlight for approximately 3 seconds. The backlight may be difficult to see in direct sunlight. The alarm clock may emit a slight vibrating sound when the backlight is on. This is normal and does not require intervention.
Confirmation Signal
Each time you touch the LCD panel, the alarm clock emits a confirmation signal. The signal is not emitted during the current time setting operation or when the backlight is activated.
Tips
During certain operations, an indicator for touch duration appears on the alarm clock panel. To complete an operation, hold your finger on the panel until the indicator is fully filled with dashes.
Setting the Current Time
Preparation
- Touch the alarm clock panel. The display will show "TIME SET".
- Touch and hold the area on the panel labeled "TIME SET" for 2 or 3 seconds.
Setting
- To adjust the current time digits, touch the upper part of the digit area to increase the value or the lower part to decrease it.
- Touching the seconds area sets the seconds to "00".
- To finish setting the current time, touch the area on the panel labeled "TIME SET".
Using the Alarm Signal
You can set up to seven independent alarm times, one for each day of the week. All alarms use the SNOOZE function, repeating the alarm up to seven times after the set time, with one of five different melodies playing each time.
Setting the Alarm Time
Preparation
- Touch the alarm clock panel. The display will show "ALARM SET".
- Touch and hold the area on the panel labeled "ALARM SET" for 2 or 3 seconds.
- Touch the area for the desired day of the week. The selected alarm will automatically become active.
Setting
- To adjust the alarm time digits, touch the upper part of the digit area to increase the value or the lower part to decrease it.
- Touch an area for a different day of the week to set the alarm time for that day.
- After completing the settings for all desired days, touch the area on the panel labeled "ALARM SET".
Activating the Daily Alarm
- Touch the alarm clock panel.
- Touch and hold the area for the desired day of the week on the panel for 2 or 3 seconds. The alarm for that day will be activated, and a thick black border will appear around the day's label.
Deactivating the Daily Alarm
- Touch the alarm clock panel.
- Touch and hold the area for the desired day of the week on the panel for 2 or 3 seconds. The alarm for that day will be deactivated.
You can stop a sounding alarm by touching any part of the alarm clock panel. To deactivate the SNOOZE function, touch and hold the area labeled "SNOOZE OFF".
Watch Face and Controls Diagram
The diagram illustrates the Casio DTS 130 watch face. It displays the current time as 10:58:50, the day of the week as Saturday (SA), and indicates the next alarm is set for 7:00.
