Notes for Water Resistance Ratings:
- Rating I: The watch is not water resistant. Avoid any moisture.
- Rating III: Do not press watch buttons underwater.
- Rating IV: If the watch is exposed to salt water, rinse it thoroughly and dry it.
- Rating V: The watch can be used for scuba diving (except for depths requiring helium-oxygen mixture).
- Some water-resistant watches have leather bands. Do not wear these watches while swimming or engaging in water activities that submerge the band.
Watch Care
- Never attempt to open the case or remove the back cover.
- The rubber gasket protecting the watch from water and dust should be replaced every 2-3 years.
- If moisture gets inside the watch, have it checked immediately by your nearest CASIO dealer or distributor.
- Do not expose the watch to extreme temperatures.
- While designed for normal use, avoid rough handling and dropping the watch.
- Do not fasten the band too tightly. A finger should fit between your wrist and the band.
- Clean the watch and band with a dry soft cloth, or a soft cloth dampened with a mild neutral detergent solution. Never use volatile substances like gasoline, solvents, or spray cleaners.
- When not in use, store the watch in a dry place.
- Avoid contact with gasoline, cleaning solvents, spray aerosols, adhesives, paint, etc. Chemical reactions can damage gaskets, the case, and the watch's finish.
- For watches with silk-screened designs on the band, clean carefully to avoid damaging the patterns.
- For watches with plastic bands: A whitish powdery substance may appear on the band. This is harmless and can be removed by wiping with a cloth. Sweat or moisture, or storage in high humidity, can damage, tear, or crack plastic bands. Wipe them clean of dirt and water with a soft cloth to ensure a long service life.
- For watches with fluorescent cases and bands: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause gradual fading of fluorescent colors. Prolonged contact with moisture can also cause fading. Wipe off any moisture as soon as possible. Prolonged contact with other wet surfaces can cause discoloration. Ensure the fluorescent surface is dry and avoid contact with other surfaces. Strong friction can transfer fluorescent paint to other surfaces.
CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage that may occur during the use of this watch and does not accept claims from third parties.
