Set-Up and Use

Battery Power

The trash can requires 4 "AA" size batteries, which are not included.

Battery Installation Steps:

1. Open the trash can lid.
2. Locate the battery compartment, typically found under the lid.
3. Insert 4 "AA" batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
4. Close the battery compartment securely.
5. Close the trash can lid.

Operation

Sensor-Activated Lid Operation

To open the lid, simply wave your hand within the sensor zone. The lid will open automatically. It will close automatically after a few seconds once your hand is removed from the sensor zone.

Manual Lid Operation

The lid can also be opened and closed manually using the designated buttons on the unit.

AbsorbX® Odor Control Technology

The AbsorbX® odor filters use all-natural activated carbon technology to absorb and neutralize trash odors, leaving your space smelling fresh and clean. This technology also traps illness-causing Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), contributing to a healthier environment.

Filter Replacement: Replace the AbsorbX® Odor Filter every 3 months or when the odor becomes too strong. Used filters should be disposed of in a trash can.

Insert Trash Can Bag Using Retainer Ring

To insert a trash bag:

1. Place the trash bag over the rim of the bin.
2. Use the Trash Bag Retainer Ring to secure the bag in place.
3. Fold any excess bag material over the retainer ring.
4. Tuck the excess bag neatly into the bin.

Care & Maintenance

Sensor and Wall Clearance: Maintain a minimum distance of 10 inches (approximately 25 cm) between the sensor and the wall. Ensure the sensor is not exposed to direct sunlight.

Cleaning Instructions:

1. Turn off the power, unplug the AC adapter, and remove batteries.
2. Clean the sensor area with a soft, damp cloth.
3. Dry the sensor area immediately.
4. Clean the bin body using only products suitable for stainless steel.
5. Do not submerge the lid in water, as it contains electronic components.

Troubleshooting

Reset Procedure: If the trash can is not functioning correctly, perform a reset: Turn off power, unplug the adapter, and remove batteries. Allow the unit to sit for at least 2 hours. Then, plug the adapter back in, replace batteries, power on the unit, and attempt to operate the lid.

Important Power Note: Do not use batteries and the AC power adapter simultaneously. The trash can can only be powered by one source at a time.

Items sold as used, floor samples, or refinished are subject to the seller's terms and conditions, not the manufacturer's warranty.
