Zodiac Vortex™ Pool Cleaner
Important Safety Information
For any operation beyond routine cleaning and maintenance described in this guide, this product must be serviced by a qualified professional with sufficient experience in pool equipment installation and maintenance. Never turn the cleaner on unless it is fully submerged in water, as this will void the warranty and may cause severe damage to the cleaner motors.
Getting Started
Step 1: Immerse the Robot
Place the Zodiac Vortex pool cleaner into the swimming pool.
Step 2: Wait for Bubbles to Stop
Allow the cleaner to sink to the bottom of the pool. Wait until all bubbles have ceased to be released.
The cleaner is equipped with a 3.5m cable.
Step 3: Start Cleaning
Once the cleaner is submerged and bubbles have stopped, you can begin the cleaning cycle.
Pool Shapes and Surfaces

- Rectangular with flat bottom
- Other shapes, other bottoms

Control Box Functions
The control box offers various functions depending on the cleaner model. Available functions include:
- Start/Stop: To begin or end a cleaning cycle.
- Clock: For setting the time.
- Program: To set cleaning cycles and parameters.
- Cycle/Time Adjustment: Adjust the cleaning duration.
Refer to the control box display for specific settings.
Operation Modes
- Start Cleaning: Initiate the cleaning process.
- Set Programming: Configure cleaning schedules and parameters.
- Cleaning Time Adjustment: Select cleaning duration (e.g., +/- 0.5h).
Removing the Cleaner from Water
Use the integrated Lift System to safely remove the cleaner from the pool water.
Button Operations
The control box features buttons for various actions:
- Press and Hold: Used for specific settings or prolonged actions.
- Press Quickly: Used for immediate actions or selections.
Directional controls typically include Forward, Back, Left, Right, and Stop.
Filter Maintenance
Regularly clean the filter to ensure optimal performance.
