Assembly Instructions and Safety Guide
Important Safety Information
⚠️ WARNING: Furniture tip-over can cause serious or fatal crushing injuries.
To prevent tip-over, this furniture MUST be permanently secured to the wall using the provided tip-over restraints.
To further reduce the risk of serious injury and death from tip-overs:
- Place the heaviest items in the lowest drawer.
- Do not place TVs or other heavy objects on top of this product.
- Never allow children to climb or hang on drawers, doors, or shelves.

Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps carefully to assemble your MALM dressing table.
Step 1: Prepare Base and Sides
Attach the base panel to the side panels using screws (113453, 114334). Insert dowels (101353) into the side panels.
Step 2: Attach Drawer Runners
Fix the drawer runners (100349) to the inside of the side panels.
Step 3: Attach Back Panel Supports
Attach the necessary brackets and supports (e.g., 122998, 114254) to the back of the unit.
Step 4: Assemble Main Frame
Connect the side panels to the base, ensuring they are secure. Attach the back panel or supports as indicated.
Step 5: Attach Wall Anchoring Brackets
Secure the wall anchoring brackets (e.g., 106989) to the top rear of the unit using screws (100823, 109049).
Step 6: Attach Top Panel
Place the top panel onto the assembled frame. Secure it using brackets (10003193) and screws (109560).
Step 7: Assemble Drawer Box
Assemble the drawer box components using dowels (101345) and screws (118331, 101353). Attach drawer slides (118250) to the drawer sides.
Step 8: Attach Drawer Front and Bottom
Attach the drawer front (105344) to the drawer box. Insert the drawer bottom (110630).
Step 9: Install Drawer Runners and Drawer
Attach the corresponding drawer runners (10139504, 10139543) to the inside of the main unit. Carefully slide the assembled drawer into the unit.
Step 10: Attach Drawer Front Mechanism and Handle
Install the drawer front mechanism (110519) and attach the drawer handle (105344) to the drawer front.
Step 11: Adjust Drawer
Adjust the drawer alignment as needed for smooth operation.
Wall Mounting Instructions
Crucial for Safety: Always secure the furniture to the wall.
The supplied screws and plugs are designed for use with most solid (A) and hollow (B) walls. For solid wood (C) walls, use the screws without plugs.
If you are uncertain about the correct type of wall fixing for your wall, seek professional advice.
Mounting to Solid Walls (Type A)
Use the provided screws directly into the wall. Ensure the screw length is appropriate for the wall material.
Mounting to Hollow Walls (Type B)
Use the provided wall plugs (rawlplugs) with the screws. Drill holes of the appropriate size (e.g., 8mm) and insert the plugs before screwing into them.
Mounting to Solid Wood (Type C)
Use the provided screws directly into the solid wood. No plugs are needed.
General Wall Mounting Steps:
- Position the furniture against the wall.
- Mark the wall through the holes in the wall anchoring brackets attached to the furniture.
- Move the furniture away from the wall.
- Drill holes at the marked locations and insert wall plugs if necessary.
- Move the furniture back into position.
- Secure the furniture to the wall by screwing through the brackets into the wall (or wall plugs).
