Welcome to your new EPOMAKER HE65 MAG keyboard. This guide will help you get started with setup, features, and maintenance.
Product Overview
The EPOMAKER HE65 MAG is a 65% Hall Effect Hot Swappable Type-C Wired Bluetooth & 2.4G Wireless RGB Analog Keyboard. It features a compact design, customizable RGB lighting, and advanced functionalities for an enhanced typing and gaming experience.
Getting Started
Connectivity
The keyboard supports three connection modes:
- Type-C Wired: Connect the keyboard using the provided USB Type-C cable.
- Bluetooth: Toggle the switch to the BT side. Hold Fn+Q/W/E for 3-5 seconds until the keys blink rapidly to enter pairing mode. Connect to "HE65 Mag- 1/2/3" on your Bluetooth device. Press Fn+Q/W/E to switch between paired devices.
- 2.4GHz Wireless: Toggle the switch to the 2.4G side. Hold Fn+R for 3-5 seconds until the R key blinks rapidly to enter pairing mode. Insert the 2.4G dongle into your computer. The indicator will stop flashing once connected.
Basic Functions & Shortcuts
Utilize the Fn key in combination with other keys to access various functions:

Knob Functionality
The rotary knob offers dual control:
- Screen Control: Rotate the knob to select settings, press to confirm.
- Volume Control: Rotate the knob to adjust volume, press to mute/unmute.
Customizing RT (Rapid Trigger)
- Download and install the latest EPOMAKER driver from epomaker.com/blogs/software/epomaker-driver.
- Connect the keyboard in wired mode and open the driver.
- Navigate to Main -> StokeSetting -> Customize and frame the keys you wish to adjust.
- Adjust the actuation points ("press" and "up") and click "Confirm".
Advanced Settings
Note: Some FPS games may prohibit these features.
- Dynamic Keystroke (DKS): Assign up to 4 different functions to 4 different positions of your keystroke.
- MT: Set two different functions for a single key (one for holding, one for tapping).
- TGL: Keep a key triggered by holding or double-tapping.
- Snap (SOCD): Configure a pair of keys so that when both are pressed, the last input is registered.
Replacing Keycaps and Switches

Removing Switches:
- Align the Switch Removal Tool's gripping teeth vertically with the switch.
- Grip the switch with the puller and apply pressure until it releases.
- Gently pull the switch vertically away from the keyboard.
Installing Switches:
- Ensure switches are clean.
- Align the LED slot with the RGB light on the PCB.
- Press the switch down until it clicks into place.
- Inspect and test the switch.
Note: If a key doesn't work, a switch might be bent. Re-seat the switch. Damaged pins may require replacement. Avoid excessive force.
