Troubleshooting Common Issues
If the floodlight is not functioning as expected, please review the following potential causes:
- No Power/Light: Ensure the remote control is pointed towards the floodlight and the "ON" button has been pressed. Verify that the input voltage supplied matches the product's requirements.
- Incorrect Voltage: For voltage compatibility issues, consult a qualified electrician to confirm the power supply voltage meets the specifications of the MEIKEE floodlight.
- Unresolved Problems: If the issue persists after attempting these solutions, discontinue use and contact a professional electrician or MEIKEE customer service for further assistance.
Routine Maintenance
- Periodically clean the floodlight to maintain optimal performance and brightness. [Cleaning]
- Always disconnect the power supply before commencing any cleaning or maintenance procedures. [Power Off]
- Avoid using chemical cleaning agents, as they may damage the lamp's components.
Important Warnings and Safety Information
- The LED module is an integrated component and cannot be replaced. If it becomes damaged or reaches the end of its lifespan, the entire fixture must be replaced.
- Any damage to the wiring renders the lamp unusable and requires disposal.
- If the product casing is compromised or water ingress occurs, the lamp is no longer safe for use and must be scrapped.
- Avoid prolonged direct viewing of the LED light-emitting surface to prevent potential eye strain or damage. [Eye protection]
- Never cover the luminaire with thermal pads or similar materials, as this can lead to overheating.
- The IP66 rating signifies resistance to dust and high-pressure water jets, suitable for rain protection. However, the lamp is not designed for submersion in water, which could lead to electrical leakage.
- Professional installation by a qualified electrician is recommended for all MEIKEE floodlights.
