Thank you for purchasing the MEIKEE 42W LED Security Light. This manual provides detailed instructions for installation, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Safety Precautions
- Ensure the power is turned OFF before installation or maintenance.
- Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician.
- Do not install near flammable materials.
- Avoid direct eye exposure to the LED light.
- This product is designed for outdoor use and is IP66 waterproof rated.
Installation Instructions
Step 1: Mounting the Bracket
Attach the mounting bracket to the desired surface (wall, ceiling, etc.) using appropriate screws. Ensure the surface is stable and can support the weight of the light fixture.

Step 2: Connecting the Wires
Connect the wires according to the diagram below:
- Live Wire (Brown): Connect to the live terminal.
- Neutral Wire (Blue): Connect to the neutral terminal.
- Earth Wire (Green/Yellow): Connect to the earth terminal.

Step 3: Attaching the Light Fixture
Mount the LED security light onto the bracket and secure it firmly.

Step 4: Adjusting the Angle
Adjust the light head and the motion sensor to the desired angle (up to 180°). Tighten the adjustment knobs to fix the position.

Step 5: Power On
Restore power to the circuit. The light should now be operational.
Motion Sensor Adjustment
The motion sensor allows for customizable detection settings:
- SENS (Sensitivity): Adjusts the detection range of the motion sensor. Turn clockwise to increase sensitivity and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
- TIME (Duration): Controls how long the light stays on after motion is detected. Adjust the time from 10 seconds to 5 minutes.
- LUX (Ambient Light): Sets the light's operating threshold based on ambient light. Turn towards the sun symbol (☀️) for daylight operation or towards the moon symbol (?) for nighttime operation only.

Note on Waterproof Cap: When adjusting the sensor, open the waterproof cap at the bottom of the sensor first, then reset the waterproof cap after adjustment.

Troubleshooting
Light does not turn on:
- Check power supply and wiring connections.
- Ensure the circuit breaker is on.
- Adjust the LUX setting to allow operation in current light conditions.
Light turns on/off frequently:
- Reduce the sensitivity (SENS) setting.
- Check for moving objects (trees, pets) within the detection range.
Sensor not detecting motion:
- Increase the sensitivity (SENS) setting.
- Ensure the sensor is not obstructed.
- Check the TIME setting to ensure it's long enough.
Maintenance
Clean the light fixture and sensor periodically with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure the power is off before cleaning.
