How to Operate the Elliptical Exerciser
Moving and Leveling
Moving the exerciser requires two people. Lift the rear handle to roll it on the front wheels. To level, adjust the leveling feet at the front and rear until the rocking motion is eliminated.
Exercising
To mount: Hold the handlebars, step onto the lowest pedal, then the other. Pedal to start a continuous motion.
To dismount: Wait for pedals to stop completely. Step off the highest pedal first, then the lowest.
How to Use the Chest Pulse Sensor
Putting on the Sensor
The sensor has two parts: a chest strap and a sensor unit. Attach the strap tab to the sensor unit. Wrap the strap around your chest, positioning it under clothing against your skin, high under the pectoral muscles or breasts. Ensure the logo faces forward and is right-side-up. Wet the two electrode areas on the sensor unit with saline solution (saliva or contact lens solution).
Troubleshooting
- Ensure the sensor is worn correctly.
- Wet electrode areas each time.
- Be within arm's length of the console.
- Note that medical conditions may affect readings.
- Magnetic interference can affect operation.
- Test by tapping electrode areas while near the console.
- If issues persist, replace the CR 2032 battery.
Care
- Dry thoroughly after each use to prevent premature battery drain.
- Store in a warm, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures (14°F to 122°F / -10°C to 50°C).
- Do not bend or stretch the sensor unit excessively.
- Clean with a damp cloth; never use alcohol, abrasives, or chemicals. The chest strap can be hand-washed and air-dried.

- Cool-down: 5-10 minutes of stretching.
Exercise Frequency
Complete three workouts per week with at least one rest day between them. Increase frequency to five workouts per week if desired after a few months. Consistency is key.
