Technology
TForce Technology
Televes is transitioning from traditional silicon to advanced electronic component design, enabling precise manufacturing of integrated circuits for microwave frequencies. Utilizing "State of the Art" MMIC technology, TForce is built with semiconductor compounds like Gallium Arsenide (GaAs), delivering unparalleled features and performance. Televes has redefined the antenna concept by introducing the smart BOSS device, which allows reception of very weak signals without risk from strong signals. This creates a dynamic balance, providing optimal signal levels through an enhanced "dynamic range." The TForce technology with MMIC components represents a significant advancement in optimizing dynamic range, improving DTT installation coverage.
Fiberglass Reinforced Construction
Plastics reinforced with glass fiber offer extended durability, are anti-magnetic, and provide excellent electrical insulation. Key benefits for antennas include:
- Immunity to corrosion.
- Lightweight, facilitating easier mounting.
- Flexibility, improving material performance under adverse weather conditions.
NOVA Series
The NOVA Series is a specialized antenna range designed for installations in restrictive locations, known for its pleasing low-impact visual design, making it ideal where aesthetics are a primary concern.
Application Example
The diagram illustrates two application scenarios. In the first, an antenna is connected to a power source (12-24 Vdc) and then to a MATV distribution system, which feeds two televisions. The second scenario shows a similar setup without explicit power connection shown for the antenna itself, but implies MATV distribution to a TV. The power source is depicted as either a battery or a direct AC input (196-264V~) feeding a power unit that provides the 12-24 Vdc to the antenna.
Radiation Pattern
The radiation pattern diagram for UHF frequencies displays the antenna's directional sensitivity. It shows polar plots for P.E (Polarization Electric) and P.H (Polarization Horizontal) patterns, indicating the main lobe of signal reception and coverage, typically centered around the 0-degree axis.
