Product Overview

The Vulcan 36" wide heavy-duty gas range is available in modular, cabinet base, standard oven base, and convection oven base configurations. These ranges are constructed with a stainless steel front, front top ledge with pull-out condiment rails, sides, base, and stub back. They feature four 35,000 BTU/hr. cast burners with lift-off heads and individual pilots. The unit includes an extra-deep crumb tray and heavy-duty cast burner grates.

A Model V4B36C is shown on a convection oven base. The product features certifications including [NSF Certified] and [SP Certified].

Specifications

The standard oven offers 50,000 BTU/hr. with a porcelain oven bottom, sides, and indoor panel. The convection oven provides 32,000 BTU/hr. with a porcelain oven bottom, sides, and interior door panel, powered by a 115v-1 phase blower motor (4 amps, 6' cord and plug). Oven dimensions are 27"w x 27"d x 13"h. The standard oven thermostat adjusts from 150°F to 550°F, while the convection oven adjusts from 175°F to 550°F. An optional finishing oven for standard models adjusts from 300°F to 650°F. Standard ovens include one rack, convection ovens include two racks, and all ovens allow for three rack positions. Oven doors are heavy-duty with counterweight hinges. The gas manifold is 11/4" diameter at the front and rear, capped. Total input is 140,000 BTU/hr.

Installation Instructions

  1. A properly sized gas pressure regulator suitable for battery or single unit application must be furnished and installed. Natural gas 6.0" W.C., propane gas 10.0" W.C.
  2. An adequate ventilation system is required for commercial cooking equipment. Information may be obtained by writing to the National Fire Protection Association, 1 Batterymarch Park, Quincy, MA 02269, www.NFPA.org. When writing, refer to NFPA No. 96.
  3. These units are manufactured for installation in accordance with ANSZ223.1A (latest edition), National Fuel Gas Code. Copies may be obtained from The American Gas Association, 400 N Capitol St. NW, Washington, DC 20001, www.AGA.org.

  5. For proper combustion, install equipment on adjustable legs or casters. On curb or platform, allow 31/2" front overhang. Toe base with leveling bolts are required for curb installation. Specify when ordering.
  6. Cannot be batteried with GH series equipment.
