Before Activation
- Carpet Edges: Ensure tasseled carpet edges are folded under before activating the robot.
- Clear Floor: Remove cords and small objects from the floor that could entangle the product.
- Anti-Drop Sensors: When DEEBOT is active, Anti-Drop Sensors detect drops. A physical barrier may be needed at edges to prevent falling.
Setup Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Robot
- Remove the protective strip from the robot's bumper before use.
Step 2: Place the Charging Dock
- Place the Charging Dock on a level floor surface. Ensure an area of 1.5m (5') in front and 0.5m (1.6') on both sides is clear of objects and reflective surfaces. Plug in the Charging Dock.
Step 3: Install Side Brushes
- Attach Side Brushes to the bottom of DEEBOT by pressing each brush into its corresponding colored slot until it clicks.
Step 4: Power On
- Open the robot's Top Cover. Turn the robot's Power Switch to the ON position. DEEBOT is powered ON when it emits a musical sound and the AUTO Mode Button stays illuminated.
Step 5: Charge the DEEBOT
- Before first use, charge the DEEBOT for 4 hours with the power button in the ON mode.
Step 6: Start the DEEBOT
- Activate the DEEBOT by directly pushing the button on its surface.
- Note: The robot's Control Panel lights may dim after a few minutes of inactivity. Press the AUTO Mode Button again to wake it up.
Step 7: Operation Recommendation
- When DEEBOT is not actively cleaning, it is recommended to keep it switched ON and charging.
Mobile Control and App Connection
Connecting to the ECOVACS App
For iOS System:- Open the ECOVACS App on your phone and press the "add the robot" button to select your robot model.
- Ensure your phone is connected to your home Wi-Fi network.
- Open the robot's main panel, turn on the power switch, and press the reset button.
- After the robot beeps once, press "start setup".
- In the app interface, press the "go to connection settings" button and connect to the "ECOVACS" Wi-Fi network in your phone's settings.
- After hearing an indicator sound from the robot, return to the App.
- When the connection is completed, the screen will show "Setup completed". Press the "complete" button.
- You can now access the next page of the App interface to control your robot.

- If you allow the ECOVACS App to access your location, you can connect to your ECOVACS robots immediately via your home Wi-Fi.
- If you prefer not to share location information, go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings and directly connect to your robot's Wi-Fi.
- After hearing an indicator sound from the robot, return to the App.
- When the connection is completed, the screen will show "Setup completed". Press the "complete" button.
- You can now access the next page of the App interface to control your robot.

Smart Home Integration
Google Home Connection
- Open the Google Home App and click the top-left hamburger menu. Select "Home control" or open the Assistant App to search.
- Search for "ECOVACS" or "DEEBOT".
- Click the link button and enter the ECOVACS account authentication page to link your account.
- Once connected, you can control DEEBOT using voice commands such as:
- "Ok Google, talk to DEEBOT."
- "Ok Google, tell DEEBOT to start cleaning."
- "Ok Google, tell DEEBOT to stop cleaning."
Troubleshooting
