4.1 Description of the Airofit PRO 2.0 System
The Airofit PRO 2.0 system consists of the Airofit PRO 2.0 Breathing Trainer and the Airofit mobile application. The Breathing Trainer provides inhalation and exhalation resistance, while the application provides guidance for breathing training and tracks your performance over time.
4.2 Getting to Know the Airofit PRO 2.0
A: On Button
B: Removable E-Unit
C: Inhale Resistance Wheel
D: Exhale Resistance Wheel
E: Train Unit
F: Removable Mouthpiece
4.3 Using the Airofit 2.0 Breathing Trainer Correctly
When using the Airofit PRO 2.0, sit relaxed and upright. Keep your head facing forward; looking down may cause more saliva flow. If holding the E-Unit with your hand, ensure the openings at the resistance wheels are not blocked.
Place the device in your mouth so that your lips create a seal around the outer shield of the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece bite piece should be clamped between your teeth.
[Illustration showing correct and incorrect placement of the mouthpiece]
When starting the exercise, the Airofit PRO 2.0 requires a short offset (zeroing) of the pressure measurement. Do not breathe into the trainer during this process. Wait for instructions to begin the breathing exercise.
The Airofit PRO 2.0 Breathing Trainer should not be used in conjunction with other physical activities. Breathing training during other physical exercises will compromise the oxygenation of the muscles involved in movement.
5 Maintenance
Always ensure your device is dry before storing it. It is recommended to store your Airofit PRO 2.0 in a suitable, clean, and hygienic manner. Fully charge your device if you do not use it for more than a week to prevent the battery from draining completely. Remember to fully charge the Airofit PRO 2.0 Breathing Trainer before using it again. (YouTube: Airofit PRO – Care and Maintenance)
Daily Maintenance
Since the device is exposed to saliva during use, it is important to clean it regularly. It is recommended to clean your device after each training session. Always remove the E-Unit before cleaning the device. Do not immerse the E-Unit in water or expose the product to water jets or other liquids. It is recommended to wash the trainer unit and mouthpiece in warm water (below 60°C). Shake off excess water after washing and blow through the device to remove any remaining water. Ensure your device is completely dry before reassembling and storing it. Airofit is not autoclave or dishwasher safe.
Weekly Maintenance
Once a week, use a drop of dish soap in water to thoroughly wash your trainer unit and mouthpiece. After washing, hold the trainer unit under running water to allow it to rinse through. Shake off excess water, blow through the device, and dry with a clean towel. Allow it to air dry. Ensure the device is completely dry before reassembling it.
Monthly Maintenance
Fully charge your E-Unit at least once a month, even if you are not using it, to prevent the battery from draining.
6 Getting Started with Airofit PRO 2.0
When using Airofit for the first time
Before starting your training, the E-Unit must be fully charged until the light shows a continuous green. This initial charge may take up to 24 hours. While the E-Unit is charging, rinse the Trainer and Mouthpiece in warm water, wipe them with a clean cloth, and let them air dry. Once the E-Unit is fully charged and the Trainer Unit and Mouthpiece are completely dry, you can reassemble the Breathing Trainer. The E-Unit contains electronics; therefore, do not immerse the E-Unit in water or expose it to water jets or other liquids.
Registration Procedure
The Airofit app will guide you through the initial steps of your Airofit journey.
6.1 Lung Test
As indicated in the Airofit app, perform an initial lung test to determine your current respiratory status. The app notification will appear when it is time to perform the lung test.
The lung test records your:
- Accessible vital lung capacity, your active lung volume

These measurements are evaluated based on your gender, age, and height (as set in your profile). The percentages (0-200%) indicate how you compare to other users in the same demographic group.
6.2 Starting Training
Based on the goal selected in the Airofit app, you will find training recommendations in the app. Prepare your trainer by setting the correct resistance levels and follow the app's guidance to start the training. When your training is complete, the results screen will appear in the app, showing a summary of your training.
Understanding Training Levels
- Beginner: Low pressure loads with short breathing cycles
- Intermediate: Moderate pressure loads with moderate breathing cycles
- Expert: High pressure loads with long breathing cycles
Understanding Training Duration
The app contains your training history, allowing you to access your lung test and training session results at any time.
6.3 Training History
The app contains your training history, allowing you to access your lung test and training session results at any time.
6.4 Settings
You can update your profile in the settings. Your account is secured with a password, which can be reset. Preferences for background music and guidance sound can be enabled/disabled for your training session. If you have questions about the training, you can find answers by clicking the FAQ button. You can also report a problem if you find anything wrong with the app. The app also contains the terms and conditions (internet connection required) and privacy policy.
