Mounting and Connection Procedures
Step 1: DIN Rail Mounting
The LAD-311 is designed for mounting on a standard DIN rail. The diagram shows the LAD-311 being attached to the rail. Ensure the rail is securely fastened. The dimensions provided are 125 ± 3 mm (4.92 ± 0.12 inches).
Diagram Description: A series of LAD-311 units are shown being clipped onto a DIN rail. An arrow indicates the direction of attachment. A second diagram shows a close-up of the clipping mechanism.
Step 2: Connecting Components
This step illustrates connecting various TeSys components. The LAD-311 acts as a mounting bracket or connector for these devices.
Diagram Description: Several configurations are shown. One shows a GV2 ME003 being connected with a click. Another shows LC1 D003 and LC2 D003 units being assembled. A third shows two LC1 D003 units connected together.
Step 3: Assembling Contactors and Accessories
This section details the assembly of contactors with accessories like LAD-341.
Diagram Description: A GV2 ME003 is shown being connected to a contactor. Another diagram shows a LAD-341 being attached to a set of contactors. A close-up shows the connection point and a trash can icon, suggesting removal of packaging or excess material.
Step 4: Connecting LAD-3B1
The LAD-3B1 is shown being connected to a set of contactors. The diagram indicates wire gauge compatibility: up to 25 A / 4 mm² or AWG10-18.
Diagram Description: A LAD-3B1 unit is shown being attached to a base assembly of contactors. Arrows indicate the connection points. Several pre-assembled configurations of LAD-322 and LAD-324 are also displayed.
Step 5: Connecting LAD-331
This step demonstrates the connection of the LAD-331 accessory. It specifies wire compatibility: up to 25 A / 4 mm² or AWG10-18 for AC, and up to 32 A / 6 mm² or AWG18-8 for DC.
Diagram Description: A LAD-331 is shown being attached to a contactor assembly. A close-up shows the terminal connections labeled T1, T2, T3. Another diagram shows a method of attachment using a screwdriver (Ø4 / 0.16 inches).
Step 6: Wiring and Configuration
This section provides wiring examples and a compatibility table for different TeSys components.
Diagram Description: A complex assembly of contactors and accessories is shown with wiring. A table lists various motor power ratings (KW and HP) and their corresponding GV2ME and LC1D component numbers. For example, a 7.5 kW (IEC) / 18 A (UL/CSA) motor can be paired with GV2ME063 and LC1D093.
Compatibility Table:
KW | HP | GV2ME | LC1D |
---|---|---|---|
0.37 | 0.5 | GV2ME063 | LC1D093 |
0.55 | 0.75 | GV2ME073 | LC1D093 |
0.75 | 1 | GV2ME073 | LC1D093 |
1.1 | 1.5 | GV2ME083 | LC1D093 |
1.5 | 2 | GV2ME083 | LC1D093 |
2.2 | 3 | GV2ME103 | LC1D093 |
3 | 4 | GV2ME143 | LC1D093 |
4 | 5.5 | GV2ME143 | LC1D093 |
5.5 | 7.5 | GV2ME163 | LC1D123 |
7.5 | 10 | GV2ME203 | LC1D183 |
9 | 12 | GV2ME213 | LC1D253 |
11 | 15 | GV2ME223 | LC1D253 |
Step 7: Final Connections and Wiring
This section shows the final wiring connections for the assembled components, including the use of LAD-331 and LAD-341.
Diagram Description: The diagrams illustrate the routing of wires and the connection points. One diagram shows the 'OFF' state of a circuit breaker and the L1, L2, L3 power connections. Another shows the use of a screwdriver (Ø4 / 0.16 inches) for making connections.
Step 8: Additional Wiring Examples
Further examples of wiring and component assembly are provided, emphasizing the use of LAD-341 and LAD-331 with various contactor configurations.
Diagram Description: Multiple diagrams show different assembly sequences and wiring methods, often using a screwdriver (Ø4 / 0.16 inches) for securing connections. Arrows indicate the direction of movement and assembly.
