This document provides instructions for the DOSS SoundBox Plus WB-269 Bluetooth speaker.

6. Preparation
Use the supplied charging cable to charge your portable speaker directly from your computer's micro USB port or a cellphone adapter (ensure the adapter output is 5V). Make sure the speaker is fully charged before first use. The LED light will remain RED while charging and turn off once fully charged.
Note: If the speaker beeps every few seconds, please recharge it for 3-4 hours. The speaker has a built-in battery-saver mode that powers off after 15 minutes of inactivity. This function can be disabled via touch control; refer to the operations section. For further assistance, contact support@dossav.com.

Pairing Your Speaker
With Your Smart Device
- Place your speaker and the smart device no more than 1 meter (approx. 3 feet) away.
- Press the power button for a few seconds to turn the speaker on. Upon powering on, a tone will be heard, and the blue LED will start flashing.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your device and select "SoundBox Plus" from the list.
- If pairing is successful, the LED will change to a solid blue light. If pairing fails after 60 seconds, press and hold the Play/hand free button for 5 seconds and try again.
- To disconnect Bluetooth, long press the Play/hand free button.
Note: If your device cannot discover the SoundBox Plus, please long press the Play/hand free button and then try again.
Troubleshooting Bluetooth Connection
- Make sure your device is within 1 meter (approx. 3 feet) from the speaker.
- Clear the Bluetooth pairing list on your device.
- Reset your device.
- Try the pairing steps above again.
- If the problem is still not resolved, contact DOSS customer service at support@dossav.com for assistance.
Via Audio-in Cable
When using the audio input mode, control audio playback via the connected device. When the auxiliary cable is plugged in, the play mode will automatically switch to AUX IN mode.
Play Music via SD Card Mode
- Card capacity: 32GB or below. If your micro SD card is larger than 32GB, please format it to FAT32 or FAT.
- Supported files: MP3, WAV, WMA, APE, FLAC
- Play order: Music will play in the download/copy order.
Handling Calls
You can answer or end calls using your speaker:
- Briefly tap the Play/hand free button to pick up an incoming call.
- Speak clearly into the built-in microphone located on the front of the speaker.
- Tap the Play/hand free button again to end the call.
True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
To set up TWS pairing between two SoundBox Plus speakers:
Start the first speaker: Turn on the speaker and press and hold the ADD button for 2 seconds.
Start the second speaker: Turn on the second speaker and press and hold the ADD button for 2 seconds.
Notes:
- Start the second speaker within 60 seconds of starting the first; otherwise, the stereo pairing setting of the first speaker will be canceled.
- If pairing is successful, the volume control ring of the master speaker will be solid blue, and the slave speaker's ring will flash blue every 5 seconds.
- Speakers will automatically pair in stereo if they have been paired before.
- To cancel TWS pairing mode, press and hold the Play/hand free button for 3 seconds.
- In wireless stereo pairing, you can only change modes (Bluetooth/Audio-in) on the master speaker.
Using with Echo Dot
You can connect your Echo Dot to the SoundBox Plus via a 3.5mm aux cable or Bluetooth. Follow these steps for Bluetooth setup:
- Download the Alexa app and follow the standard setup procedure to connect the Dot to your home Wi-Fi network.
- Set your speaker to Bluetooth mode. You can press the "Play/hand free" button for 5 seconds to keep it in pairing status.
- Open the Alexa app, tap Menu, then tap Settings.
- Tap your Echo Dot in the list of Alexa devices, then tap Bluetooth.
- The SoundBox Plus should appear in the list of Bluetooth devices. If it does not, press the "Play/hand free" button for 5 seconds and try again. Once listed, tap the speaker to complete the pairing process.
- To remove the device, go back to Bluetooth, tap the speaker's name, then tap "Forget device".

9. Warnings
- Do NOT drop, hit, or shake the device.
- Do NOT disassemble, repair, or modify the speaker yourself.
- Do NOT use cleaning products containing benzene, solvents, or alcohol.
- Do NOT expose the speaker to excessive heat or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Do NOT store the device in a place with high humidity or dust.
- Do NOT place heavy objects on the speaker.
- Do NOT use the speaker near a microwave oven or wireless LAN products.
