  • Top cover: The hinged lid at the top of the unit.
  • Sprayer: Located beneath the top cover, this component directs hot water onto the coffee grounds.
  • Funnel: A cone-shaped part that holds the coffee filter and grounds.

  • Carafe: The glass pot that collects the brewed coffee.
  • Water tank: The reservoir where water is added.
  • Water gauge: Markings on the side of the water tank indicating the water level, with a "MAX" marking.
  • Main housing: The primary body of the coffee maker.
  • Power Switch: A button located on the side of the main housing, typically marked with "I" for ON and "O" for OFF.
  • Warming plate: The heated surface at the base of the unit designed to keep the carafe warm after brewing.

Before First Use

Check that all accessories are complete and the unit is not damaged. Add water into the water tank to the MAX level and flush water for several times without coffee powder, then pour the water away. Clean all detachable parts thoroughly with water.

Operation

  1. Open the top cover and fill the water tank with drinking water. The water level must be below the MAX level as indicated on the carafe. (Refer to Figure 1 for visual guidance on filling and component placement).
  2. Add coffee powder into the filter. A common ratio is one spoonful of coffee powder per cup of coffee, but this can be adjusted according to personal taste. Assemble the filter with coffee powder into the funnel. Ensure the funnel is fitted properly; otherwise, the top cover cannot be closed. Finally, close the top cover. (Refer to Figure 2 for a visual of the brewing process).
  3. Place the carafe on the warming plate horizontally.
  4. Plug the power cord into the power source.
  5. Switch the power button to the "I" position to light the indicator. The appliance will start working.
  6. The brewing process can be stopped by pressing the Power switch to "O". It will resume work once the Power switch is pressed to "I" again.
  7. NOTE: You can take out the carafe to pour coffee at any time. The appliance will stop dripping automatically. This interruption should be brief, ideally within 30 seconds.
  8. CAUTION: DO NOT touch the top cover, warming plate, or other parts while the machine is working.
  9. After the process is finished, keep the coffee maker energized if you do not want to drink immediately. It can keep the coffee warm on the warming plate. For a better taste, drink it before it cools down.
  10. NOTE: Please make sure the carafe is not empty when keeping warm to prevent dry boiling.
  11. Take out the carafe to drink when the brewing is finished (about one minute after the coffee stops dripping out).
  12. NOTE: The coffee brewed may be less than the water added, as some water is absorbed into the coffee powder.
  13. Always turn the coffee maker off and disconnect the power supply when not in use.
  14. NOTE: Pay attention when pouring the coffee.

Cleaning and Maintenance

CAUTION: Be sure to unplug the appliance before cleaning. To protect against electrical shock, keep the cord dry. After using, always make sure to unplug from the wall outlet first.

  1. Clean all detachable parts after using.
  2. Wipe the product's surface with a soft, wet cloth to remove stains.
  3. Water may collect in the area above the funnel and drip into the product base during brewing. To control dripping, wipe it off with a clean, dry cloth after use.
  4. Use a wet cloth to gently wipe the warming plate. Never use an abrasive cleaner to clean it.
  5. Collect all parts and keep them for next time use.

Removing Mineral Deposits

To keep your coffee maker operating efficiently, you should clean away the mineral deposits left by the water regularly, according to the water quality in your location and the frequency of use. If the mineral deposit is excessive, please clean as following steps:

  1. Fill the tank with water and scale remover to the MAX level. The proportion of water and scale remover is 4:1. Follow the instructions of the scale remover. Please use "household scale remover".
  2. Make sure there is no coffee powder remaining in the filter.
  3. Press the Power switch to "I" position. The indicator will be illuminated. The appliance will begin working.
  4. Make about two cups of coffee each time.
  5. Press the Power switch to "O" position to stop the unit immediately. Let the scale remover stay in the container for at least 15 minutes.
  6. Restart the product and repeat the steps of 4-6 at least 3 times.
  7. Then, pour coffee (no coffee powder) out with tap water. Repeat the steps of 4-6 for 3 times (it is not necessary to wait 15 minutes in step 5), then brew until there is no water left in the tank.
