Unboxing and Initial Setup
Before starting, ensure you have enough space and a soft surface to protect the TV screen. Two people are recommended for safe handling.

- Stand Components
Setup Steps:
- Prepare the TV: Carefully lay the TV screen-down on a soft, flat surface, such as a blanket or foam packaging.
- Attach Stand Components: Align the stand components with the designated slots on the TV's back. Secure them firmly.
- Position the TV: With assistance, carefully lift the TV and place it upright on a stable, level surface.
Stand Assembly
For 70UP76* and 70UP77* Models:
- Attach the stand base to the TV using the provided screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Route cables through the integrated cable management features if available.
For 75UP76* and 75UP77* Models:
- Attach the stand base to the TV using the provided screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Route cables through the integrated cable management features if available.
Wall Mount Installation
Note: Wall mount brackets are sold separately. Refer to the wall mount installation guide for specific instructions.
For 70UP76* and 70UP77* Models:
- Attach the wall mount brackets to the rear of the TV using appropriate screws (not included with TV).
- Ensure the brackets are securely fastened and level.
For 75UP76* and 75UP77* Models:
- Attach the wall mount brackets to the rear of the TV using appropriate screws (not included with TV).
- Ensure the brackets are securely fastened and level.
Connecting External Devices
The LG TV offers various ports for connecting external devices.
- Optical Digital Audio Out: Connect to a soundbar or audio receiver for high-quality digital audio.
- LAN: Connect an Ethernet cable for wired internet access.
- Antenna/Cable In: Connect an antenna or cable TV coaxial cable for broadcast channels.
- USB In: Connect USB storage devices for media playback or software updates.
- HDMI In: Connect devices like Blu-ray players, game consoles, or set-top boxes.
- HDMI In (eARC/ARC): Connect to an eARC/ARC compatible sound system for enhanced audio return channel functionality.
Remote Control and Smart Features
The LG remote control allows for easy navigation and access to smart features.
- Power Button: Turn the TV on or off.
- Input Selection: Switch between connected input sources.
- Settings: Access TV settings and configurations.
- Navigation Buttons: Use the directional pad and OK button to navigate menus.
- Volume Control: Adjust the audio volume.
- Channel Control: Change TV channels.
- Smart Features: Access streaming apps and LG's webOS platform.
- Pairing: The remote may require pairing with the TV for full functionality. Follow on-screen prompts if necessary.
