1. Start Here: Attaching the TV Stands
Objective: How to attach the stands to your TV (not for wall mounting).
You'll need: Soft surface and Phillips screwdriver.
Step A: Prepare the TV
Carefully place your TV face-down on a cushioned, clean surface.
Step B: Secure the Stands
Align the TV stands with the screw holes on the bottom of the TV, then secure the stands to the TV with the four provided M5 screws. ?
Wall Mount: Preparing for Wall Mounting
Objective: How to prepare your TV for wall mounting (not for use with a TV stand).
You'll need: Soft surface and Phillips screwdriver.
Step A: Prepare the TV
Carefully place your TV face-down on a cushioned, clean surface.
Step B: Mount the Bracket
Your TV has four VESA mounting holes on the back. If you attach a wall-mount bracket, it must be securely attached using all four holes. Failure to use all four holes may result in property damage or personal injury. Refer to the documentation that came with your wall mount for complete mounting instructions.
VESA Mounting Pattern: 400 × 200 mm. Requires M6 Type screws (not included).
Features and Connections
Power indicator: Shows the TV's power status.
Remote control sensor: Receives signals from the remote control.
Important Note: Do not plug in the power cord until all other devices have been connected. ?
2. Making Connections: Watching TV or Connecting Devices
Objective: How to watch TV (cable, satellite, or antenna) or connect a device such as a DVD or Blu-ray disc player, game console, or tablet.
Cable Options:
- HDMI (BEST): Provides the best video quality.
- AV (GOOD): Standard audio/video connection.
- Coaxial (GOOD): For antenna or cable input.
Port Details:
Multi-purpose jacks: You can plug any device that uses HDMI into any HDMI jack. However, certain devices must be connected to the ARC (Audio Return Channel) jack. Refer to your ARC-enabled device's instructions.
TV Ports:
- HDMI IN (multiple): Connect HDMI devices. HDMI 1 is labeled (ARC).
- AV IN (VIDEO, LEFT, RIGHT): Connect devices using AV cables.
- ANTENNA / CABLE: Connect antenna or cable input.
- OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT: Connect to external audio devices.
- USB IN: For USB devices.
3. Connecting Audio Devices: External Speakers
Objective: How to connect your TV to external speakers.
Using Digital Audio: Connect your soundbar or speakers to the OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT port. Refer to your speaker's instructions for more information.
4. Turning On Your TV
When your TV is in place:
- Plug the power cord into the AC IN jack on the back of your TV, then plug the other end into a power outlet. ?
- Remove the remote control cover and install the batteries. ?
- Press the Power button [power-symbol] on your remote control.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
5. Complete Guided Setup (Optional)
Objective: Establish your network connection for enhanced features.
Your TV will automatically detect your wireless network. Have your network name and password ready.
Benefits of Connection:
- Automatic software updates for improved experience.
- Immediate streaming entertainment.
- Access to over 2,000 streaming channels.
Setup Steps:
- Follow the easy on-screen setup to connect to your wireless network.
- Personalize your Home screen and channel line-up.
- If you have an antenna or cable connected, select the "Tuner" tile to watch broadcast TV channels.
- Link your TV to your Roku account using the unique code provided at https://my.roku.com/link.
- (Optional) Enter a credit card number for convenient renting and purchasing from the Roku Channel Store.
If you are not ready to connect to a wireless network, you can still use the TV as a regular television.
6. Optional: Watching Local Broadcast TV
Objective: How to scan for channels.
If you connected your TV to an antenna or cable wall jack (no box):
- After the setup wizard is complete, select the "Antenna TV" tile from the Home screen.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to scan for channels.
- To watch TV, select the "Antenna TV" tile whenever you wish.
Note: If you connected a cable or satellite box, skip this step.
Connecting Brings Out Your TV's Full Potential
Access over 2,000 streaming channels for movies, music, and more.
- Movies: Stream from channels like Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Google Play, HULU.
- Music: Stream from channels like Pandora, VEVO, Spotify, or access your MP3 collection via Amazon Cloud Player or Roku Media Player.
- Passions: Explore channels for fitness, cooking, religion, outdoors, international programming, and more, including HBO GO, NFL Now, PBSKids, and FOXNOW.

Using Your Remote Control
Key Buttons and Functions:
- Power [power-symbol]: Turns your TV on or off.
- Back: Returns to the previous screen.
- Home: Displays your TV's Home screen. Stops playback if currently watching.
- Jump Back: Changes to the previous channel (antenna/cable) or jumps back one position in video (streaming). Backspaces one letter in menus.
- Sleep: Sets the sleep timer.
- View more options [*]: Access picture settings, display options, and more. Press the [*] button on any screen.
- Fast forward: Fast forward streaming video. Scrolls right one page at a time.
- Play/pause: Pauses or resumes playback.
- Rewind: Rewinds streaming video. Scrolls left one page at a time.
- Streaming channels shortcuts: Pressing a shortcut button opens the channel's page (sign up if not added, or display if added). If the TV is off, it turns on and displays the channel.
- Directional keypad: Navigate menus.
- Volume up: Increases volume or un-mutes.
- Volume down: Decreases volume.
- Mute: Mutes or un-mutes sound.
Using Your Cable Set-top Box or Satellite Receiver Remote as a Universal Remote
To use your cable or satellite receiver remote as a universal remote, refer to the manual provided by your service provider for programming instructions. You can find compatible codes at www.roku.com/universalremote.
Troubleshooting
Having trouble completing the guided setup? Here are common solutions:
If you cannot see a picture on your TV:
- Ensure the TV and connected device (cable box, player, console) are turned on and plugged into a working outlet.
- Verify the power cable is securely connected.
If you cannot connect to your wireless home network:
- Confirm the correct wireless network name is selected.
- Ensure the wireless network password is entered correctly (it is case-sensitive).
- Try slightly rotating the router to improve the wireless signal.
If you cannot hear sound:
- Check that the TV volume is turned up and not muted.
- Try using only the TV speakers by disconnecting any external audio devices.
If the TV remote control isn't working:
- Remove any obstructions between the remote and the TV's remote control sensor.
- Try a fresh set of batteries. ?
- If the TV's status light flashes once per button press, the remote is likely functioning correctly.
- Try unplugging the TV from the power outlet, waiting a moment, and plugging it back in.
