SIGMA EOX VIEW 700 Short Manual

This document provides essential information for the SIGMA EOX VIEW 700 e-bike computer and the EOX REMOTE ONE.

1 Button Functions

The EOX VIEW 700 features three buttons (A, B, C) for operation. Below are the functions for each button in various languages:

Button A

English: Short press: One page backward, Decrease value. Long press: Turn device off.
Polish (PL): Krótkie naciśnięcie: powrót do poprzedniej strony, zmniejszenie wartości. Długie naciśnięcie: wyłączenie urządzenia.
Czech (CS): Krátký stisk: Předcházející stránka, Snížit hodnotu. Dlouhý stisk: Vypnout zařízení.
Ukrainian (UK): Натисніть кнопку: На одну сторінку назад, Зменшити значення. Тривале натискання кнопки: Вимкніть пристрій.
Latvian (LV): Nospiediet pogu: Atpakaļ vienu lapu, Samazināt vērtību. Ilgi nospiediet pogu: Izslēdziet ierīci.
Lithuanian (LT): Spauskite mygtuką: Atgal vieną puslapį, Sumažinti vertę. Ilgai paspauskite mygtuką: Išjunkite įrenginį.
Slovenian (SL): Pritisnite gumb: Eno stran nazaj, Zmanjšajte vrednost. Dolg pritisk na gumb: Izklopite napravo.

Button B

English: Short press: One page forward, Increase value. Long press: Reset training values.
Polish (PL): Krótkie naciśnięcie: przejście o jedną stronę do przodu, zwiększenie wartości. Długie naciśnięcie: resetowanie wartości treningu.
Czech (CS): Krátký stisk: Další stránka, Zvýšit hodnotu. Dlouhý stisk: Resetovat tréninkové hodnoty.
Ukrainian (UK): Натисніть кнопку: Перейти на одну сторінку вперед, Збільшити вартість. Тривале натискання кнопки: Скинути значення навчання.
Latvian (LV): Nospiediet pogu: Pārsūtiet vienu lapu uz priekšu, Palielināt vērtību. Ilgi nospiediet pogu: Atiestatīt treniņu vērtības.
Lithuanian (LT): Spauskite mygtuką: Persiųsti vieną puslapį, Padidinti vertę. Ilgai paspauskite mygtuką: Iš naujo nustatykite treniruočių vertes.
Slovenian (SL): Pritisnite gumb: Naprej eno stran, Povečanje vrednosti. Dolg pritisk na gumb: Ponastavite vrednosti vadbe.

Button C

English: Short press: Confirm input, One menu level down. Long press: Open and close menu, activate/deactivate Backlight.
Polish (PL): Krótkie naciśnięcie: zatwierdzenie wprowadzonych danych, przejście o jeden poziom menu w dół. Długie naciśnięcie: otwarcie i zamknięcie menu, włącz/wyłącz podświetlenie.
Czech (CS): Krátký stisk: Potvrdit zadání, O jednu úroveň menu níže. Dlouhý stisk: Otevřít a zavřít menu, Aktivovat/deaktivovat podsvícení.
Ukrainian (UK): Натисніть кнопку: Підтвердити введення, Перейти на один рівень меню вниз. Тривале натискання кнопки: Відкрити та закрити меню, Увімкнути/вимкнути підсвічування.
Latvian (LV): Nospiediet pogu: Apstipriniet ievadi, Pakāpieties par vienu izvēlnes līmeni uz leju. Ilgi nospiediet pogu: Atvērt un aizvērt izvēlni, Aktivizēt/deaktivizēt fona apgaismojumu.
Lithuanian (LT): Spauskite mygtuką: Patvirtinkite įvestį, Eikite vienu meniu lygiu žemyn. Ilgai paspauskite mygtuką: Atidaryti ir uždaryti meniu, Įjungti/išjungti foninį apšvietimą.
Slovenian (SL): Pritisnite gumb: Potrdite vnos, Pojdite eno raven menija navzdol. Dolg pritisk na gumb: Odpiranje in zapiranje menija, Omogoči/onemogoči osvetlitev ozadja.

Button B + C

English: Long press: activate/deactivate Backlight.
Polish (PL): Długie naciśnięcie: włącz/wyłącz podświetlenie.
Czech (CS): Dlouhý stisk: Aktivovat/deaktivovat podsvícení.
Ukrainian (UK): Тривале натискання кнопки: Увімкнути/вимкнути підсвічування.
Latvian (LV): Ilgi nospiediet pogu: Aktivizēt/deaktivizēt fona apgaismojumu.
Lithuanian (LT): Ilgai paspauskite mygtuką: Įjungti/išjungti foninį apšvietimą.
Slovenian (SL): Dolg pritisk na gumb: Omogoči/onemogoči osvetlitev ozadja.

Notes on Backlight: Due to power consumption, the backlight will not stay on permanently. A button press turns the backlight on for 2-3 seconds. When the backlight is on, you can operate the EOX® VIEW 700 as usual.

Automatic Shut-off: The EOX® VIEW 700 will turn off automatically after 5 minutes of no connection to the E-Bike.

2 Installation

The EOX VIEW 700 can be mounted on the handlebar using the provided mount. Ensure the mount is securely fastened with a torque of approximately 0.5 Nm. The mount is designed for handlebars with a diameter of 31.8 mm or 35 mm. Rubber pads are included for a snug fit.

An optional locking screw can be used with a torque of 0.1 Nm for added security.

The angle of the display can be adjusted by +/- 5°.

3 Initial Wake-Up

To wake up the EOX VIEW 700, press and hold the C button for 5 seconds.

Select the device language using buttons A (previous) and B (next), and confirm with button C.
Press the C button to start searching for a compatible E-Bike.
Select your E-Bike from the list to initiate the first connection. Your EOX® VIEW 700 and your E-Bike will automatically connect in the future.
Set up device and user settings.
Enjoy your device and start your first ride!

Important Notes for Connection:

Ensure the E-Bike is turned on and its wireless interface is advertising while the EOX® VIEW 700 is scanning.
Some E-Bikes are discoverable only for 30 seconds after power-on. It is recommended to press a button on the E-Bike during the EOX® VIEW 700's search to ensure a successful connection.

4 Usage of EOX® App

Download the SIGMA EOX® App from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Install the app and enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
Turn on the EOX® VIEW 700 by pressing any button. Navigate to the menu and select 'Connection' -> 'EOX App'.
Open the SIGMA EOX® App and follow the on-screen instructions to set up the app and connect your EOX® VIEW 700.

REMOTE ONE

The REMOTE ONE is the remote control for the EOX® VIEW 700, allowing for convenient operation.
