Spacing for Recessed or Closet Installation
The dimensions shown represent recommended spacing, with the exception of closet door ventilation openings, which are minimum requirements. This washer has been tested for installation with 0" (0 mm) clearance on the sides. Consider allowing more space for easier installation and servicing, as well as spacing for companion appliances and clearances for walls, doors, and floor moldings. Add an additional 1" (25 mm) space on all sides of the washer to reduce noise transfer. If a closet door or louvered door is installed, air openings at the top and bottom of the door are required.
