Installation Steps

Step 1: Clean the components

1. Before installing or replacing the filter, immerse it in clean water for 5 minutes, then rinse it to clean (to remove floating carbon generated by activated carbon during transportation).
2. Rinse the stainless steel water tray, filter tray, water container, faucet and pump with clean water.

Tips: Never use water above 50 °C. Never use dishwashers or disinfection cabinets to clean the components.

Step 2: Assemble the product

1. Pour clean drinking water into the water container, keep the water level under the max level.
2. Install the water pump sponge.
3. Put the filter tray into the water container and connect the pipe with the pump.
4. Put the filter into the filter tray.
5. Put the stainless steel water tray onto the filter tray.
6. Insert the faucet into the corresponding hollow space.
7. Insert the control module into the battery holder.

Features

The water fountain has the following features and indicators:

• Power indicator: Indicates the power status (low power, battery low, charging, charged).
• Filter replacement indicator: Lights up when the filter needs replacement.
• Normal mode indicator: Lights up when the fountain is in normal mode.
• Auto mode indicator: Lights up when the fountain is in auto mode.
• Power Button: Used to turn the device on/off and switch between modes.

Power Button Functions:

• Turn on: Press the power button once to enter auto mode.
• Switch to Normal Mode: Press the power button again to switch to normal mode.
• Turn off: Press the power button again to turn off the device.

Modes:

• Auto Mode: The fountain automatically detects pets and dispenses water for 20 seconds.
• Normal Mode: The fountain operates in intermittent or constant mode depending on the power supply.
  • Intermittent Mode (Battery power): Water flows for 15 seconds every 15 minutes.
  • Constant Mode (Wall outlet power): Water flows continuously.

Filter Replacement:

When the filter replacement indicator is on, replace the filter. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to reset the indicator.

Maintenance and Cleaning

1. Disconnect power supply and turn off the product before cleaning. Keep the charging port dry.
2. Remove the pump, sponge, filter, filter tray, stainless steel tray and rinse them with clean water.
3. Wipe the control module with a damp cloth only. Clean the charging port before connecting power.
4. It's recommended to replace the filter and water pump sponge every 2 weeks, and wash them every week.
5. Before replacing the filter, immerse it in water for 5 minutes, then rinse it with clean water to remove floating carbon.
6. For your pets' health, change the filter and sponge frequently based on actual use.

Notes

• For indoor use only.
• Disconnect power supply before cleaning.
• Do not clean the power port; wipe it with a clean cloth.
• Keep the pet fountain horizontal. Do not knock it over.
• Keep pets away from wires to avoid electrical hazards.
• Ensure adult supervision when children operate the product.
• Do not fill with hot water.
• Do not disassemble the product for repair.
• Use only official accessories.

Troubleshooting

• Q: Blue indicator, no water flow?
  A: Pump may be blocked (clean thoroughly) or water tube not connected tightly.
• Q: Red indicator, no water flow?
  A: Insufficient water level or pump needs disassembly and cleaning.
• Q: Abnormal pump noise?
  A: Foreign objects in the pump (disassemble and clean) or low water level causing air intake.
• Q: How often to change filters?
  A: Recommended every 2 weeks. Contact service@feelneedy.com for replacements.
• Q: Water output speed slows down?
  A: Normal for first use/after storage as pump expels air. Disassemble and clean pump if issue persists.
