Pump Cleaning

1. Remove the cover of the pump and take out the sponge.
2. Clean the sponge.
3. Remove the cap of the impeller.
4. Take out the impeller with tools.
5. Thoroughly clean all parts with the small brush and wash the inside of the water pump.
6. Finish and install the water pump.

Installation Steps

Step 1: Clean the components

1. Before installing or replacing the filter, immerse it in clean water for 5 minutes, then rinse it to clean (to remove floating carbon generated by activated carbon during transportation).
2. Rinse the stainless steel water tray, filter tray, water container, faucet, and pump with clean water.

Tips:

• Plastic parts should only be hand-washed in cold water.
• Stainless steel parts are dishwasher safe but do not exceed 60°C/140°F.
• Keep battery components dry.

Step 2: Assemble the product

1. Pour clean drinking water into the water container, keeping the water level under the max level.
2. Install the water pump sponge.
3. Put the filter tray into the water container and connect the pipe with the pump.
4. Put the filter into the filter tray.
5. Put the stainless steel water tray onto the filter tray.
6. Insert the water outlet into the corresponding hollow space.
7. Insert the control module into the battery holder.

Features

The product features several modes and indicators:

• Power Indicator: Indicates power status (low power, battery low, charging, charging complete).
• Filter Replacement Indicator: Lights up when the filter needs replacement.
• Normal Mode Indicator: Lights up when the product is in normal mode.
• Auto Mode Indicator: Lights up when the product is in auto mode.
• Power Button: Used to turn the device on/off and switch between modes.

Power Button Operation:

• Turn On: Press the power button once to enter auto mode.
• Press again to switch to normal mode.

Auto Mode:

When a pet approaches, the fountain automatically detects it and dispenses water for 20 seconds.

Normal Mode:

Operates in intermittent or constant mode depending on power source.

• Intermittent Mode: With battery power, water flows for 15s every 15 minutes.
• Constant Mode: With wall outlet power, water flows continuously. (Battery power only supports intermittent mode).

Filter Replacement:

When the filter replacement indicator is on, replace the filter. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to reset the indicator.

Power Indicator Details:

• Breathing red: low power
• Solid red: battery about to run out
• Breathing green: charging
• Solid green: charging completed

Maintenance and Cleaning

1. Disconnect power supply and turn off the product before cleaning. Keep the charging port dry.
2. Remove the pump, sponge, filter, filter tray, and stainless steel tray, then rinse them with clean water.
3. Do not soak or rinse the control module with water; wipe it with a damp cloth only. Keep the charging port dry before switching on the power.
4. It is recommended to replace the filter and water pump sponge every 2 weeks, and wash them weekly.
5. Before replacing the filter, immerse it in water for 5 minutes, then rinse with clean water to remove floating carbon.
6. For pet health, change the filter and sponge frequently based on actual use conditions.

• Disconnect power supply before cleaning.

Troubleshooting

Q: Blue indicator, no water flow from pump?

A: The water pump may be blocked. Clean it thoroughly. Or the water tube may not be connected tightly.

Q: Red indicator, no water flow from pump?

A: Water level is insufficient or near the lowest level. Disassemble the water pump, wash it thoroughly, and clean the impeller.

Q: Why does the pump make abnormal noise during use?

A: Small foreign objects may have entered the pump. Disassemble, wash, and reinstall the pump. If the water level is too low, the pump may draw air, causing noise. Add water promptly.

Q: How often should filters be changed? Where to get them?

A: Filters are recommended to be replaced every 2 weeks. Contact service@feelneedy.com to purchase new filters.

Q: Water output speed slows down.

A: For first use or after long-term storage, the pump needs to expel air, which can cause a temporary slowdown. Disassemble, wash the pump thoroughly, and clean the impeller.
