Feeder Appearance
The WOPET Chimp 7L Automatic Pet Feeder is designed for convenience. It features a desiccant compartment on the top, measuring approximately 2.75 inches by 3.5 inches, which is detachable and does not include the desiccant. The overall dimensions of the feeder are 14.8 inches in height, 8.8 inches in width, and 13.8 inches in depth.

Key Panel Diagram
The control panel includes an LCD screen displaying time and settings. The buttons are:
- MIC: Microphone for voice recording.
- SET key: Used for setting modes and confirming selections.
- Up key (▲): Navigates upwards or increases values.
- Down key (▼): Navigates downwards or decreases values.
- Feeding key: Initiates manual feeding.
- REC key: Used for recording voice messages.
The LCD display shows the current time, for example, 08:54, and indicates settings like 'Meal Copies'.
Feeder Assembling
Connect the adapter
Place the power cord into the bottom slot to secure it. Set the bottom power switch to the "I" (ON) position. The feeder can also operate on batteries (3 new D cell, alkaline batteries required, NOT INCLUDED) during power outages.
The base of the feeder reveals a power cord slot, a power outlet, a battery compartment, and a power switch.
Assemble the feeding tray
- Turn the feeder upside down. Align the two clasps on the feeding tray with the slots on the base and gently push down until it is firmly clamped. To remove the tray, slide it upward.
- Place the feeder upright and put the stainless steel bowl into the tray.
Assemble the food bucket
- Align the four clips on the feeder's inner wall with the four grooves on the edge of the food bucket. To disassemble, pull it out.
Assemble the top cover
- Rotate the top cover clockwise until it is locked. To lift the top cover, turn it counterclockwise.
Function Setting
Power on
- Plug in the feeder and ensure the bottom power switch is set to "I".
- When powered on, a green light flashes, indicating normal operation. Batteries can be used as a backup.
Set the current time
- Press the "SET" key until the LCD backlight illuminates, then release. The first digit of the hour number will flash, indicating setting mode.
- Use the "UP" or "DOWN" keys to set the desired number. Press the "SET" key again to move the cursor to the next digit (e.g., the second digit of the hour).
- The setting for minutes follows the same procedure as setting the hours.
Note: The machine uses a 24-hour clock system.
Set feeding schedule
- Feeding settings include the amount and time for each meal.
- Press the "SET" key to enter the setting for the first meal. The meal number "1" will flash.
- Use the "UP" or "DOWN" keys to set the "Copies" (servings per meal). The maximum number of servings is 8.
- After setting the servings, press the "SET" key to move the cursor to set the feeding time for the first meal. This process is similar to setting the current time.
- After setting the first meal, press the "SET" key to move to the second meal ("2") and repeat the steps.
- Continue this process to set feeding schedules for other meals.
Note: Settings are saved when the LCD backlight turns off. The device will then enter a locked state. Press the "SET" key to unlock it for further adjustments.
Cancel feeding schedule
- In setting mode, if there is no operation for 8 seconds, the LCD backlight will turn off, exiting the setting.
- Alternatively, long-press the "SET" key to exit settings after the LCD backlight goes out.
Note: To cancel a specific meal, set its "Copies" number to 0.
Record voice message
- Press and hold the "REC" key. The alarm LED will turn on, and the device will emit one "beep" sound.
- Speak clearly into the device's microphone.
- Release the "REC" key to stop recording. The device will emit two "beep" sounds to indicate the recording has ended.
Note: The recording time should not exceed 10 seconds. If the recording is unsatisfactory, press the "REC" key again to re-record.
Manual feeding
- In the un-setting state (LCD backlight off), press and hold the "FEEDING" key for 3 seconds. The feeder will dispense one serving.
Restore factory settings
- In the setting state (LCD backlight on), press and hold the "REC" key for 3 seconds. All settings will be cleared, and the feeder will restart with factory default settings.
Feeder Cleaning
- Turn off the feeder, unplug the power adapter, and remove batteries before cleaning.
- The top cover, food bucket, and food plate can be disassembled for cleaning. Use clean water or a mild detergent. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or using the feeder.
- Wipe the base and exterior parts of the feeder body with a dry cloth. Do not immerse these parts in water.
Important Notes
- Low Power Reminder: A flashing red alarm light indicates low battery power. Replace batteries promptly.
- Usage Environment: The feeder is designed for indoor use only. Placing it against a wall can help prevent pets from knocking it over.
- Food Level: Regularly check the food level and refill as needed.
- Long-Term Storage: If the feeder will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent electrolyte leakage.
- Malfunction: A constantly lit red alarm light suggests a malfunction. Check the feeder's status.
