Timer Features
Filter: Traps dirt particles, prolonging the life of the timer. Clean the filter regularly and replace if worn.
Dial: Navigate up or down and push to make a selection.
Station Button: Moves between Station 1 and Station 2.
Set Clock: Set the time of day.
Start Time: Select the time you would like to start watering.
How Long: Determine how long to water, from 1 to 360 minutes.
How Often: Choose how often you will water. Options include every 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, or from 1 to 7 days.
Auto/Manual: Timer waters according to your customized schedule. Press once to water manually. Press and hold to set a rain delay.
Off: Turn off all watering.
Low Battery Indicator: Appears on the display when batteries are low.
Faucet Connection: Connects to the hose faucet.
Filter: Located within the faucet connection.
Station Dial: Used to select stations and navigate settings.
Installing the Batteries
- Remove the battery tray on the back of the timer by sliding or pulling it out.
- Insert two AA (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included) and replace the tray.
Note: Firmly replace the battery tray to ensure water resistance and increase battery life. The tray is fully inserted if it does not pull out easily. Used or dead batteries must be removed and disposed of properly. Replace batteries when the low battery icon appears on the display.
Warning: Do not dispose of batteries in fire, as they may explode or leak. Remove batteries when storing the timer.
Programming the Timer
Set Clock
1. Turn the dial so the arrow points to SET CLOCK.
2. Press the dial to select; the hour will begin to flash.
3. Turn the dial until the current hour is displayed, then press to confirm. The minutes will begin to flash.
4. Turn the dial to adjust the minutes, then press to confirm.
5. Turn the dial to choose AM or PM, then press to confirm.
Programming Station 1
Start Time
1. Turn the dial so the arrow points to START TIME.
2. Station [1] is automatically selected (indicated by a box around it).
3. Press the dial to confirm; the hour will begin to flash.
4. Turn the dial until the desired start time hour is displayed, then press to confirm. The minutes will begin to flash.
5. Turn the dial to the desired minutes, then press to confirm.
6. Turn the dial to select AM or PM, then press to confirm.
How Long
1. Turn the dial so the arrow points to HOW LONG; Station [1] is automatically selected.
2. Press the dial to select; the minutes will begin to flash.
3. Turn the dial until the desired number of minutes (1 to 360) is displayed, then press to confirm.
How Often
1. Turn the dial so the arrow points to HOW OFTEN; Station [1] is automatically selected.
2. Press the dial to select; the days will begin to flash.
3. Turn the dial until the desired number of hours or days is displayed, then press to confirm. You may choose to water every 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, or from 1 to 7 days.
Note: '1' means every day, '2' means every other day, etc.
Station 1 is now programmed. Turn your dial to AUTO/MANUAL to allow your timer to water according to the programmed time and frequency, or complete the steps to program Station 2.
Programming Station 2
1. Turn the dial so the arrow points to START TIME.
2. Press the STATION button to select station [2].
3. Repeat the steps for Start Time, How Long, and How Often for Station 2.
Station 2 is now programmed. Turn your dial to AUTO/MANUAL to allow your timer to water according to the programmed time and frequency.
Additional Features
Rain Delay
Rain delay allows you to postpone watering for a set period. To access rain delay:
- With the arrow pointing to AUTO/MANUAL, press and hold the dial for 3 seconds.
- The rain delay symbol [rain-cloud] will appear, and the number of days will begin to flash.
- Turn the dial until the desired number of days (1 to 7) is displayed, then press to confirm.
The screen will flash between the clock and the remaining time before the programmed cycle resumes.
To remove rain delay, turn the dial to OFF and then back to AUTO/MANUAL.
Manual/Hand Watering
This feature allows you to water without interrupting your set schedule. To access manual watering:
- With the arrow pointing to AUTO/MANUAL, press the dial to select.
- 'MANUAL' will appear, and the minutes will begin to flash. Station [1] is automatically selected; press the STATION button to select Station [2] if needed.
- Turn the dial until the desired number of minutes (1 to 360) is displayed, then press to confirm.
The manual icon [water-drop] will appear, and the screen will flash between the clock and the time remaining before the programmed cycle resumes.
Note: There may be a slight delay between pressing the dial and when watering begins.
To stop manual watering, turn the dial to OFF and then back to AUTO/MANUAL.
Troubleshooting
Water does not come on at desired time.
- Check if the clock is set to the correct time, including AM and PM.
- Ensure the dial is set to "AUTO/MANUAL".
- Verify the start time is set correctly, including AM and PM.
- Check if Rain Delay is active.
- Check if the timer is set to AUTO/MANUAL.
- Ensure the hose faucet is turned on.
- Check if batteries are low.
- Ensure the clock is set to the correct time, including AM and PM.
- Check if Rain Delay is active.
Water won't turn off.
- Check if HOW LONG is set to the desired time.
- Check if HOW OFTEN is set to the desired interval hour or day.
Working water pressure:
- Minimum: 10 psi
- Maximum: 100 psi
Working temperature:
- Maximum: Do not exceed 120°F (49°C)
- Minimum: Keep from freezing
