Step 1: Hook-Up
This section outlines the basic connections for your ULTRABASS BXD3000H.
- Connect Speaker: Ensure the amplifier is powered down. Connect the BXD3000H SPEAKER OUTPUT to an external speaker using a 1/4" speaker cable. Do not use an instrument cable for this connection.
- Connect Bass Guitar: Plug your bass guitar into the INPUT JACK using a standard instrument cable (1/4" mono plug).
- Initial Control Settings: Set GAIN 1 and LEVEL controls to their minimum positions. Set the MASTER control to the 9 o'clock position.

- FBQ Button: Activates the FBQ spectrum analyzer, showing frequency band energy via LED brightness. The equalizer is always active.
- COMPRESSOR Button: Activates the compressor for both channels.
- COMPRESSOR Knob: Controls compression intensity.
- ULTRABASS Button: Activates the Ultrabass function, adding ultra-low frequencies.
- ULTRABASS Knob: Controls the intensity of the Ultrabass effect.
- MASTER: Sets the overall output volume.
- PHONES Jack: For connecting headphones.
- IEC Connector: For power supply.
- DIRECT OUTPUT (XLR): Balanced output for connecting to a mixing console.
- SPEAKER OUTPUT Jack: For connecting to an external speaker.
- SEND/RETURN Jacks: For connecting external effects units.
- CD IN Jacks (RCA): For connecting external stereo sources (e.g., CD/MP3 player).
- LINE OUT Jack: Sends signal (pre-power amp) via a 1/4" mono cable.

Step 3: Getting Started
Follow these steps to get your amplifier up and running:
- Ensure the amplifier is powered down. Connect the SPEAKER OUTPUT to an external speaker using a speaker cable.
- Plug your bass guitar into the INPUT JACK with an instrument cable.
- Set GAIN 1 and LEVEL to minimum, and MASTER to the 9 o'clock position.
- Power up the amplifier by pressing the POWER button.
- While playing, rotate the GAIN 1 knob clockwise until you achieve a satisfactory volume.
- Push the CH2 button to switch to Channel 2.
- Adjust the tone on Channel 2 using the GAIN 2, SHAPE, and LEVEL knobs.
- Use the FBQ EQUALIZER sliders to fine-tune specific frequency bands.
- Push the FBQ button to visualize frequency band energy levels via the slider LEDs.
- Customize your bass tone further by engaging the COMPRESSOR and ULTRABASS buttons and adjusting their respective controls.
- Adjust the overall output volume using the MASTER knob.
