HAVSEN Kitchen Sink Installation
Important Note
ℹ️ NOTE! Silicone is not included! In order to prevent water from penetrating into the countertop in case of leakage, the cut edges must be sealed with silicone.
Tools and Preparation
Before starting the installation, gather the necessary tools:

The assembly process involves preparing the base cabinets and the countertop.
Step 1: Cabinet Setup
Ensure your base cabinets are correctly assembled and positioned. The countertop will be placed on top of these cabinets.

Step 2: Countertop Measurement and Marking
Measure and mark the countertop for the sink cutout. The overall width of the countertop area for the sink is 635 mm.

Mark the precise position of the sink on the countertop. Measure 'X' mm from the edge as per the template or sink dimensions.

Mark the cutout dimensions for the sink. The internal dimension required is 424 mm.

Continue marking all lines for the sink cutout.

Mark the positions for the faucet holes, typically 45 mm from the edge of the countertop.

Countertop Cutting
Step 3: Cutting the Countertop
Use a jigsaw to carefully cut along the marked lines for the sink cutout.

Step 4: Finishing Edges
After cutting, use a file to smooth all cut edges. Ensure dimensions like 1 cm and 4 cm are maintained where specified for proper fit.

Sink Installation
Step 5: Placing the Sink
Carefully place the sink into the prepared countertop cutout. Ensure it sits flush.

Step 6: Applying Sealant
Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the underside edge of the countertop cutout and/or the rim of the sink to create a watertight seal.

Apply silicone sealant to the cabinet frame where the sink will rest for additional support and sealing.

Step 7: Securing the Sink
Attach the provided mounting brackets to the sink using screws (2x per bracket, as indicated).

Position the sink correctly within the countertop opening. Secure the sink from underneath by fastening the brackets to the countertop or cabinet structure.

Apply a final bead of silicone sealant around the top edge of the sink where it meets the countertop for a clean finish and extra sealing.

Apply silicone sealant to the sides of the sink for a secure fit and to prevent movement.

Step 8: Final Touches
The sink is now installed. Install your faucet, ensuring the hole spacing is appropriate (recommended 80-110 mm).
