Installation Steps
- Carefully pull house wires down out of the junction box to ensure they are easily accessed for connecting fixture wires.
- If the screw collar loop (W) is already attached to the mounting bracket (A), proceed to Step 3. To assemble the screw collar loop (W) to the mounting bracket (A): Hold the mounting bracket (A) so the head of the ground screw points down towards the floor. Hold the threaded pipe (E) so its two hexnuts are pointing down towards the floor. From the side of the mounting bracket with the ground screw head, screw the short end of the threaded pipe (E) into the center hole of the mounting bracket (A) until the hexnut on the threaded pipe (E) touches the mounting bracket. Thread the hexnut (V) onto the end of the threaded pipe (E). Tighten the hexnut (V) to secure the threaded pipe (E) to the mounting bracket (A). Thread the screw collar loop (W) onto the end of the threaded pipe pointing down towards the floor. Tighten the screw collar loop up against the hexnut on the threaded pipe (E).
- Place the mounting bracket (A) against the junction box. The screw collar loop (W) should point down towards the floor. Align each slot in the mounting bracket (A) with each hole in the junction box.
- Thread one junction box screw (B) into each slot in the mounting bracket (A) and into the holes in the junction box. Tighten the junction box screws (B) to secure the mounting bracket (A) to the junction box. CAUTION: Ensure house wires remain easily accessible. Do not pinch wires between the mounting bracket and the ceiling.
- Carefully push fixture wires from the top of the fixture body (O) up through the bottom of the center stem (M). Pull fixture wires taut. Screw the center stem (M) onto the top of the fixture body (O).
- Slip fixture wires through the hole in the top trim (N). Slip the hole in the top trim (N) over the top of the center stem (M).
- Push fixture wires up through the bottom of the loop (L). Pull fixture wires taut. Screw the bottom of the loop (L) onto the top of the center stem (M).
- Connect one locking link (G) to the loop (L).
- Determine the desired hanging height of the fixture. Cut the chain (H) to the required length.
- Slip a chain link at the end of the chain (H) onto the locking link (G) on the loop (L).
- Weave fixture wires through the chain links, skipping every other chain link.
- Slip the threaded ring (F) down over the end of the chain (H).
- Position the canopy (D) so its outside is pointing down towards the fixture. Slip the hole in the canopy (D) over the end of the chain (H).
- Strip 3/4" of insulation from the ends of the fixture wires.
- Carefully push fixture wires up through the hole in the screw collar loop (W) attached to the mounting bracket (A) and out the end of the threaded pipe inside the junction box. Carefully pull fixture wires so they are easily accessible to connect to house wires.
- To assist in connecting fixture wires to house wires, temporarily connect a second locking link (G) to the link at the end of the chain (H) and to the screw collar loop (W).
- Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A). Do not remove it completely. Wrap the house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough wire to attach to the fixture ground wire. Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the end of the house ground wire together. Twist a wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten the wire nut (C). Refer to the chart below for correct wire connections.
- Twist the end of the house lead wire (black) and the end of the fixture lead wire together. Twist a wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten the wire nut (C). Twist the end of the house neutral wire (white) and the end of the fixture neutral wire together. Twist a wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten the wire nut (C). Refer to the chart below for correct wire connections.
- Wrap electrical tape (not included) around the wire nuts (C) and wires. Ensure wires are securely fastened into the wire nuts.
- Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.
- Remove the second locking link (G) from the last link on the chain (H) and the screw collar loop (W).
- Raise the canopy (D) up to the ceiling. Pass the hole in the canopy (D) over the screw collar loop (W). Position the canopy (D) up against the ceiling.
- Raise the threaded ring (F) up to the canopy (D). Screw the threaded ring (F) onto the screw collar loop (W). Tighten the threaded ring (F) to secure the fixture to the ceiling.
- Attach the second locking link (G) to the link at the end of the chain (H). Attach the locking link (G) at the end of the chain (H) to the loop on the screw collar loop (W).
- Set each shade (K) down over the socket.
- Screw the recommended bulbs (E12 candelabra bulb type, not included) into the sockets. Verify the correct bulb wattage marked on the fixture socket. WARNING: Do not exceed the maximum bulb wattage.

Diagram Descriptions
Initial Mounting Bracket Assembly
This diagram illustrates the first steps of attaching the mounting bracket (A) to the junction box. It shows the junction box, the mounting bracket (A) with screw holes, a ground screw, a threaded pipe (E) with hexnuts (V), and a screw collar loop (W). The diagram guides the user on how to screw the threaded pipe (E) into the bracket (A), secure it with hexnut (V), and then attach the screw collar loop (W). It also shows how to align the bracket (A) with the junction box holes using junction box screws (B).
Chain and Wire Assembly
This diagram shows the components used for hanging the fixture. It depicts the chain (H), locking links (G), loop (L), center stem (M), top trim (N), and fixture body (O). The process involves passing fixture wires through the chain, attaching locking links, and assembling these parts onto the center stem and fixture body.
Wiring Connections Diagram
