Battery Check System (bcs)
The Braun Quartz AB 30 SL features a 'battery check system' (bcs) that monitors the battery voltage. When the battery voltage drops below a certain level, the second hand will move in 2-second intervals instead of 1-second intervals, indicating that the battery needs to be replaced. Upon inserting a new battery, the second hand will move in 2-second intervals for 8 seconds (4 times). If the second hand then resumes normal 1-second movement, the battery has sufficient voltage.
Battery Disposal
Empty batteries should not be disposed of in household waste. They should be taken to designated collection points or returned to a retailer for proper disposal.
Guarantee Information
Braun provides a 2-year guarantee from the date of purchase against material and/or workmanship defects. This guarantee is valid in countries where the product is officially sold and requires a stamped and dated guarantee card. Repairs performed under warranty do not extend the warranty period. Claims arising from the sales contract with the vendor are not affected by this guarantee. For UK consumers, this guarantee does not affect statutory rights.
The guarantee covers repair or replacement of the product at Braun's discretion. Other claims, including those for damages, are excluded. The guarantee is void if unauthorized service centers attempt repairs or if non-original Braun spare parts are used.
