Product Description

The Braun BC10 is an alarm clock designed for ease of use and clear display. It features a digital LCD screen showing time, date, temperature, and alarm settings.

Getting Started

1. Remove the battery door.
2. Insert 2x AA batteries (use good branded alkaline batteries) as indicated in the battery compartment, and press the 'reset' key to reset the clock. The display will turn on after a few seconds.
3. Close the battery door.

Function Keys

Time Setting / Neutral / Alarm Setting Switch:

• Slide to TIME SETTING to set the clock time.
• Slide to ALARM SETTING to set the alarm time.
• Slide to NEUTRAL to exit setting mode and return to normal display.

+ Key:

• When the switch is in NEUTRAL, press to toggle between 12 and 24-hour display format.
• In TIME SETTING or ALARM SETTING mode, press to increase the setting value. Press and hold to speed up the setting.

- Key:

• When the switch is in NEUTRAL, press to toggle between °C and °F temperature display.
• In TIME SETTING or ALARM SETTING mode, press to decrease the setting value. Press and hold to speed up the setting.

Alarm On/Off Slider:

• Shift UP to enable the alarm.
• Shift DOWN to disable the alarm.

Snooze/Light Touch Button:

• Tap to turn on the backlight for 10 seconds.
• Tap to stop the alarm and activate the 5-minute snooze function.

Reset Button: Use a pin to reset all values to default. Essential for troubleshooting malfunctions.

Calendar Setting Button: Press to set year/month/date.

Backlight On/Off Switch: Slide to ON for night light mode, slide to OFF to disable.

Setting the Time

1. Slide the TIME SETTING / NEUTRAL / ALARM SETTING switch to the TIME SETTING position.
2. Press the '+' or '-' key to set the desired value. Press and hold to speed up the setting.
3. Slide the switch to the NEUTRAL position to save settings and return to normal display.

Setting the Year, Date, and Month

1. Press the CALENDAR SETTING button.
2. Use '+' or '-' keys to set the year, then press CALENDAR SETTING to save.
3. Use '+' or '-' keys to set the month, then press CALENDAR SETTING to save.
4. Use '+' or '-' keys to set the date, then press CALENDAR SETTING to save and exit.

Setting the Alarm

1. Slide the TIME SETTING / NEUTRAL / ALARM SETTING switch to the ALARM SETTING position.
2. Press the '+' or '-' key to set the desired alarm time. Press and hold to speed up the setting.
3. Slide the switch to the NEUTRAL position to save settings and return to normal display.

Using the Alarm and Snooze Function

1. Enable the alarm by shifting the ALARM ON / OFF slider up. The bell icon ? will appear on the LCD display.
2. Tap the SNOOZE / LIGHT button to stop the alarm and activate the snooze function. The bell icon will flash.
3. To disable the alarm and snooze function, shift the ALARM ON / OFF slider down. The bell icon will disappear.

Note: The snooze function reactivates the alarm after 5 minutes. The snooze function only stops when the ALARM ON / OFF slider is moved down.

Setting the Night Light

Slide the BACKLIGHT switch to ON to enable the night light mode. This feature activates only in low-light conditions.

Note: Continuous use of the backlight will significantly reduce battery life.

Battery Replacement

When the 'Low battery indicator' ? is visible, replace both AA batteries at once.

Guarantee

Braun offers a 2-year guarantee against material and workmanship defects (excluding batteries). The guarantee is valid in countries where the alarm clock is officially sold. Broken or cracked lens screens are not covered.
