- Insert Items D into the open ends of each chassis and line up with the vertical mounting points.
- Using Item G with Item J fix items C to Items B and to the vertical chassis mounting points.
- Fix Item A between each side arm using Items H and items K.
- Using Item E fix you desired ball bracket and wiring plate (not supplied in this kit) to Item A.
- Fully tighten all fixings ensuring the Towbar is rigid, square and secure.
Visual Aids Description
The main diagram illustrates the towbar assembly attached to a vehicle chassis. It shows the central crossmember (A) connecting to the side arms (B) which mount to the chassis. Angle brackets (C) and clamp plates (D) are also depicted as part of the mounting hardware. Various fasteners, including bolts (E, F, G, H) and washers (J, K), are shown with their corresponding items and quantities. Callouts indicate specific mounting considerations, such as "Only used on vehicles with outside face bolting bumper arms".
Two additional diagrams show distinct mounting brackets for "Regular Cab" and "Crew Cab" configurations of the Isuzu D-Max. These brackets feature different hole patterns designed to align with the specific chassis mounting points of each vehicle type.
Notes:
- For Torque settings see general notes overleaf.
- Nose load limits and vehicle manufacturer's trailer / caravan weight limits must be observed.
