Diagram Description (Figure 1)
Figure 1 illustrates an exploded view of the TFD24H towbar assembly for the Ford Ranger and Volkswagen Amarok. It shows the main components: the TFD24H Crossbar (A), Left Hand Side Arm (B1), Right Hand Side Arm (B2), and Slider Face Plate (A1) with Slider Pins & Clips (A2). The diagram details the attachment points on the vehicle's rear, indicated by 'X' for original location pins. Various fasteners are depicted, including M16 bolts and nyloc nuts (C), M8 bolts and washers (D), M12 bolts and washers (E), M14 bolts and nyloc nuts (F), M14 bolts and washers (G), and different sizes of flat washers (H, J, K). The assembly process involves connecting the side arms (B1, B2) to the vehicle chassis using specific bolts and washers (G, K), attaching the bumper using other bolts and washers (D, H, E, J), and finally securing the crossbar (A) to the side arms with bolts and washers (F, K). The ball bracket is attached to the slider face plate (A1) using bolts (C).
