EXTERNAL TROUBLESHOOTING – 14251
NO FLOW
- Check Solution Bottle by depressing the piston to see if water will flow out. Check that o-ring is present.

- Check Receiver for debris.

CONTINUED TROUBLESHOOTING
- Fill solution tank ½ full and test for flow.
- Remove Trigger Valve Assembly cover on grip and check for clogged hose.

NO SUCTION / UNIT LEAKING
- Remove Recovery Tank and check for proper installation of duck bill valve.
- Check to make sure gasket is in place to receive Recovery Tank.

ACCESSING THE HEATER TO REPLACE OR CLEAN – 14251
- Remove [2 screws] from the LH side of the unit – under Solution Tank and remove [2 screws] from the RH side of the unit – under the Recovery Tank.

- Remove [4 screws] from heater box cover plate.
- Check tubes for clogs.
- Remove Heater and blow out to clear possible debris.

- To access heater cavity remove [4 screws] on bottom plate.

PUMP ACCESS
- Remove [2] Heater Housing screws to access pump.

- To remove the pump you must break the glue bond on the tube connection going to the Receiver. Twist back and forth to release tube from connector. Use screw driver to depress tab to release pump so it can be slid forward and out of its retaining slot.

- After the pump is installed and you are ready to replace the heater box make sure you do not pinch the flow tubes between the bottom of the heater box and the pump.
MOTOR ACCESS
- Cut wire ties holding wires going to motor in 3 places.

- Remove wire nuts and free wires leading to motor.
- Remove UPH duct by swinging it back out of the way.
- Remove [3] screws holding motor.

POTENTIAL LEAK POINT
If the UPH hose is not drained it may show a leak at the bottom of the elbow.
