12 Month Warranty

Thank you for your purchase from Kmart. Kmart Australia Ltd warrants your new product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period stated above, from the date of purchase, provided that the product is used in accordance with the accompanying recommendations or instructions where provided. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Kmart will provide you with your choice of a refund, repair or exchange (where possible) for this product if it becomes defective within the warranty period. Kmart will bear the reasonable expense of claiming the warranty. This warranty will no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident, misuse, abuse or neglect.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase and contact our Customer Service Centre on 1800 124 125 (Australia) or 0800 945 995 (New Zealand) or alternatively, via Customer Help at kmart.com.au for any difficulties with your product. Warranty claims and claims for expense incurred in returning this product can be addressed to our Customer Service Centre at 690 Springvale Rd, Mulgrave Vic 3170.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

For New Zealand customers, this warranty is in addition to statutory rights observed under New Zealand legislation.

Battery Precautions

• Battery cannot be subjected to high or low extreme temperatures, low air pressure at high altitude during use, storage or transportation.
• Disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, can result in an explosion.
• Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
• A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.

Function Overview

The headphones have the following controls and features:

• 1. Status indicator: Indicates power and pairing status.
• 2. [+] / [Next Track] button: Increases volume or skips to the next track.
• 3. Multifunction button: Handles call functions (answer/end, reject, redial), Bluetooth pairing, audio playback (play/pause), and voice assistant activation.
• 4. [-] / [Previous Track] button: Decreases volume or skips to the previous track.
• 5. [AUX IN] socket: For connecting a 3.5mm audio cable to music players or mobile phones.
• 6. Microphone: For making and receiving calls.
• 7. [ON/OFF] Switch: Powers the headphones on and off.
• 8. Charger connector: For charging the battery.
• 9. Battery indicator: Shows charging status.

Switching On/Off

To switch on, move the [ON/OFF] switch to the ON position, then press and hold the multifunction button until the status indicator lights up.

When switched on, the headphones will automatically connect with the last paired device if it is in pairing mode.

To switch off, press and hold the multifunction button until the status indicator lights up for a few seconds, and you will hear a voice prompt "Power off".

Operation

If you receive or make a call while listening to music, the music playback will be paused until the call ends.

Call Functions:

• Answer/end a call: Press the multifunction button once.
• Reject a call: Press and hold the multifunction button for approximately 2 seconds.
• Redial last call: Press the multifunction button twice.

Playback Functions:

• Play/pause track: Press the multifunction button once.
• Skip to next track: Press and hold the [+] button.
• Go to previous track: Press and hold the [-] button.
• Voice assistant: Press and hold the multifunction button for about 2 seconds.

Specifications

Charging the Battery

This Bluetooth headphone is powered by a rechargeable Li-polymer battery. Please use the provided USB cable to recharge the battery.

When using this product for the first time, charge it fully first.

1. Connect the USB charging cable to the headset's USB port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB charging cable to a powered USB device.
3. It takes approximately 2.5 hours to fully charge the battery.

Battery Indicator Status:

• Low battery: The status indicator will light up red.
• Charging: The battery indicator will light up red.
• Fully charged: The battery indicator light will turn off.

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the headphones are switched off.
2. Switch the [ON/OFF] switch to the ON position.
3. Press and hold the multifunction button for 5 seconds to enter Bluetooth pair mode. You will hear a voice prompt "Power on, pairing", and the LED indicator will flash red and blue.
4. The headphones will pair to the latest paired device automatically if available.
5. If no Bluetooth device is paired within 5 minutes, the headphones will switch off.
6. Activate the Bluetooth feature on your Bluetooth device and start searching. Then select "KM43233915".
7. If necessary, enter the passcode "0000" to pair and connect the headphones. Some devices may also ask to confirm the headset connection after pairing.
8. The blue indicator will light up, and the headphones will beep after successful pairing.
9. Once connected, you will hear a voice prompt "Connected".

The Bluetooth feature will be disabled while using the 3.5mm audio cable.

Hints and Tips

Product not working:

• Recharge the product.
• Ensure the product is switched on.
• Ensure your Bluetooth-enabled device's wireless function is active.
• Ensure there are no other wireless devices in discovery mode.
• Move the product closer to the device.
• Pair the product and the device again.

Aux Mode

When the headphones are in Bluetooth mode, insert the Aux audio cable into the headphone's AUX IN socket. The Bluetooth headphones will turn off and switch to Aux mode. Connect the opposite end of the cable to a phone, computer, or other device with a 3.5mm jack to play music.
