Honeywell BW™ RigRat: Mobile Multi-Gas Area Detector

BW™ RigRat by Honeywell

Mobile Multi-Gas Area Detectors

Respect safety procedures and protect operators with the easiest-to-use area detector of its kind.

The Honeywell BW™ RigRat is so easy to use that operators can deploy it with maximum safety, confident that the system will alert them to potential hazards from harmful gases nearby, indoors and outdoors, in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 60°C. The Honeywell BW RigRat guarantees:

  • Up to 8 weeks of operation on a single charge. Longer operation than any other detector in its class.
  • Up to six interchangeable gas sensor slots. Choice of electrochemical, PID, infrared, and catalytic bead sensors (measuring in % LEL and % volume).
  • Integrated noise sensor and meteorological data sensor.
  • Highly configurable with programmable input and output.
  • Certified for explosive atmospheres. Certified for ATEX/IECEx Zone 0 and CSA C1D1.
  • Flexible applications. Zone access, rapid intervention, confined spaces, routine maintenance, perimeter monitoring, and more. Available with a remote sampling pump.
  • One-button operation. Easy to transport. No specific experience required.
  • Easy setup via smartphone. Mobile application for alarm thresholds, calibration logs, and more.
  • Enhanced safety. Alerts operators to gas leaks, whereas personal detectors only cover the breathing zone.
