Honeywell BW™ RigRat Portable Multi-Gas Area Detector

Overview

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and protect your employees with the easiest-to-use area detector in its class. The Honeywell BW™ RigRat detector is so easy to use that workers can confidently rely on it to alert them to gas threats around them, whether indoors or outdoors and at temperatures between -40°C and 60°C. The Honeywell BW RigRat detector offers:

  • Up to 8 weeks of battery life on a single charge. Superior autonomy compared to all other detectors in its class.
  • Up to six interchangeable gas sensor slots. A wide choice of electrochemical, PID, infrared, and catalytic bead sensors (measuring % LEL and % volume).
  • Integrated noise sensor and meteorological data sensor.
  • Highly configurable with programmable input and output.
  • Certified for explosive atmospheres. Certified for ATEX/IECEx Zone 0 and CSA C1D1 environments.

Key Features:

  • Flexible applications: Zone classification, turnarounds, confined spaces, routine maintenance, fencing, and more. Available with a pump for remote sampling.
  • Single-button operation: Take it anywhere. No special skills required.
  • Smartphone configuration simplicity: Easy-to-use mobile application to set alarm setpoints, view calibration records, etc.
  • Enhanced protection: Alerts workers to nearby gas leaks, whereas personal detectors only cover the breathing zone.
