Conditions of Validity
The RF module is to be integrated as a component that is professionally and permanently installed in the host product. The intended use of the host shall be consumer IoT devices or industrial products (excluded host categories: e.g. automotive, medical devices, civil aviation, railway-related systems, defence).
When installing this radio module permanently into a host product to create a new radio equipment device, the manufacturer responsible for placing the final radio product on the market in the EU must assess if the combination of this radio module and the host product complies with the essential requirements of the RE Directive 2014/53/EU.
For complete conformity to the Radio Equipment Directive requirements as applicable inside the European Union, this product requires the essential requirements of RED Article 3.1(a), 3.1(b), 3.2.
