BETAFPV Air65 Racing Drone

Product Manual

1. Self-stabilizing Mode (Angle Mode)

The self-stabilizing mode is also referred to as Angle Mode. The OSD displays ANGL, and you must operate the throttle to control and adjust the aircraft's altitude. The position of the control stick corresponds to the tilt direction and angle of the aircraft, and the aircraft automatically returns to a horizontal position when the control stick is centered. The operation is relatively simple, and it is the least difficult flight mode, suitable for beginners to start with.

Difficulty Coefficient: ★★★☆☆

3. Air Mode

Air Mode, also called Luftmodus, with the AIR display on the OSD, is a type of manual mode (Acro Mode). You must operate the throttle to control and adjust the aircraft's altitude. The position of the control stick corresponds to the roll direction and speed of the aircraft, and the aircraft maintains its current flight attitude when the control stick is returned to the center. The difference from manual mode (Acro Mode) is that you can still control the aircraft's attitude even when the throttle is at the lowest level. Operation is difficult and requires a lot of practice to fly in this mode.

Difficulty Coefficient: ★★★★★

4. Anti-Turtle Mode

The OSD displays CRASH FLIP SWITCH. If the fuselage is upside down after landing, you can activate the Anti-Turtle Mode to reverse the motor and flip the aircraft back upright. The motor can be reversed to turn the aircraft forward again by using the direction stick to control the motor to reverse the propellers, and then the aircraft can be turned forward again.

Flight Modes Explained

1. Self-stabilizing Mode (Angle Mode): The self-stabilizing mode is also referred to as Angle Mode, and the OSD displays ANGL, where you must operate the throttle to control and adjust the aircraft's altitude. The position of the control stick corresponds to the tilt direction and angle of the aircraft, and the aircraft automatically returns to a horizontal position after the control stick is returned to the center. Operation is relatively simple, and it is the least difficult flight mode in Betaflight firmware, suitable for beginners to get started.

2. Semi-automatic Mode (Horizon Mode): The semi-automatic mode is also referred to as Horizon Mode, the OSD displays HOR, you must operate the throttle to control and adjust the aircraft's altitude. The position of the control stick corresponds to the tilt direction and angle of the aircraft, and the aircraft automatically returns to a horizontal position when the control stick is returned to the center. The difference from Angle Mode is that there is no limit to the maximum flight angle, and the aircraft can roll over. The aircraft does not have any other fixed-altitude and fixed-point flight function. This is a less difficult flight mode of Betaflight firmware, suitable for beginners to advance.

3. Air Mode: Air Mode is also called Luftmodus, the OSD displays AIR, which is a type of manual mode (Acro Mode). It is difficult to operate and requires a lot of practice to fly in this mode.

4. Anti-Turtle Mode: CRASH FLIP SWITCH is displayed in the OSD; when the fuselage points upwards after landing, the aircraft can be turned forward again by reversing the motor in Anti-Turtle Mode. The motor is reversed to turn the aircraft forward again by using the direction stick to control the motor to reverse the propellers, and then the aircraft is turned forward again.
