BETAFPV Air65 Freestyle Drone Manual
Product Handbook and Flying Guide
Flight Modes
1. Self-Stabilization Mode (Angle Mode)
Also known as Angle Mode, indicated as ANGL on the OSD. The throttle must be engaged to control and adjust the aircraft's altitude. The position of the directional stick corresponds to the aircraft's tilt direction and angle. After the stick is reset, the aircraft automatically resumes its horizontal attitude. Operation is relatively simple, making it the flight mode with the lowest difficulty level, suitable for beginners.
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆ (Low)
Diagram Description: Shows a drone flying a stable, slightly wavy path, indicating controlled flight and return to level flight.
2. Semi-Self-Stabilizing Mode (Horizon Mode)
Also known as Horizon Mode, indicated as HOR on the OSD. The throttle must be engaged to control and adjust the aircraft's altitude. The position of the directional stick corresponds to the aircraft's tilt direction and angle. After the stick is reset, the aircraft automatically resumes its horizontal attitude. The difference from Self-Stabilization Mode (Angle Mode) is that it has no maximum flight angle limitation for roll action and can be rolled. The aircraft does not have other fixed-altitude and fixed-point assist flight functions. It is a flight mode with a low difficulty level, suitable for beginners.
Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆ (Medium-Low)
Diagram Description: Shows a drone flying an oval path, demonstrating more dynamic maneuvers than Angle Mode but still with stabilization.
3. Acro Mode (Luft Modus)
Also known as Acro Mode, indicated as AIR on the OSD. This is a manual mode. The throttle must be engaged to control and adjust the aircraft's altitude. The position of the directional stick corresponds to the aircraft's roll direction and speed. After the stick is reset, the aircraft maintains its current attitude. The difference from manual mode (Acro Mode) is that the aircraft's flight attitude can still be controlled when the throttle is at its lowest. The operation is difficult and requires significant practice to fly.
Difficulty: ★★★★★ (High)
Diagram Description: Shows a drone performing more aggressive maneuvers, including flips and rolls, indicating full manual control.
4. Anti-Turtle Mode (Crash Flip Switch)
Indicated as CRASH FLIP SWITCH on the OSD. If the fuselage is upside down after landing, the Anti-Turtle Mode can be activated to reverse the motor and flip the aircraft forward. When using this mode, use the directional stick to control the motor to spin the blades to drive the flip, thus realizing the inversion of the fuselage.
Diagram Description: Shows a drone flipped upside down on the ground, with an arrow indicating the flip action to return it to an upright position.
