About Pocket Plus
Transmitter (AC-1)
Easily mirror whatever shows on your laptop or mobile screen, ideal for video-watching and idea sharing. The device connects effortlessly to both Type-C and Type-A ports.

Receiver (R-2)
Display the content by Landscape or Portrait mode from your transmitter on the big screen like a projector screen. Plus, mirror content from your laptop or mobile device without needing a transmitter.

How to Mirror
1. Install the Receiver
Use the Type C connector to connect the Receiver to the HDMI port on the TV, and power on by an independent power 5V/1A adapter.
2. Plug and Play
Plug the Transmitter to a Type-C port on your laptop or mobile device. Wait a few seconds until the flashing light on the transmitter stops, and it will start mirroring automatically.
Note: For Type-A devices, use a converter to connect the transmitter. For Type-A and Type-C devices without DP mode, install USB WiFi Display or Miraplug after connecting the transmitter.

3. Stop and Restart Mirroring
Press the mirror / pair button on the transmitter to stop mirroring or restart mirroring.

The Plus Transmitter supports screen mirroring for all laptops, including Windows and macOS, as well as Android and iOS devices (iPhone 15 and above). To reset to default settings, press the reset button for 5 seconds.
Mirroring Without a Transmitter
The Plus receiver supports point-to-point projection for Android, Windows, iOS, and macOS. Simply connect the receiver to power and the screen, then follow the steps to mirror content.
Miracast
Mirror to EZCast using Miracast if your Android devices support Smart View on Samsung, Multi-screen on Huawei, Multi-screen Interaction on OPPO, or etc.
Device Compatibility Examples:

Screen Mirroring for iOS
Swipe and click Screen Mirroring, and choose the SSID.

Windows Extend/ Mirroring
Press the 'Windows key' and 'K' simultaneously, and select the SSID from the available display devices. You can also press the 'Windows key' and 'P' to change the display settings to extend the screen.

macOS Extend/ Mirroring
Click the [macOS AirPlay icon] in the top bar on your computer and select to mirror or extend the display to the SSID. You can also click 'Use As Separate Display' to extend the screen.

How to Pair Transmitter with Receiver
1. Turn on Pairing Mode for the Receiver
- Power up the receiver by an external adapter (5V/1A).
- Plug the receiver into the HDMI port on the monitor.
- Press the reset button on the receiver for 5 seconds. Release when the screen shows "Release the button to pair with Transmitter".

2. Press the Mirror / Pair Button on Transmitter
Plug the transmitter into your laptop or mobile device. Press the mirror / pair button on the transmitter for 5 seconds to complete pairing while the screen shows "Ready to pair". After pairing, it will start casting automatically.

There are 2 modes for the reset button on the Receiver, depending on pressing duration:
- Press for 5 seconds: Turn on pairing mode for the Transmitter.
- Press for 20 seconds: Reset the Receiver to default.
OTA Upgrade
1. Download EZCast App
- Plug the receiver to the monitor, and use the Type C connector to provide power.
- Scan the QR Code with a computer or mobile phone, or go to www.ezcast.com/app to download the EZCast app.
Note: QR codes are excluded from this output.
2. Enabling Receiver SSID and PSK and Connect to it
- Check the monitor for the SSID and PSK of the receiver. If they are not displayed, press the reset button on the wireless receiver three times consecutively to activate pairing mode for display.
- Connect your mobile's or computer's Wi-Fi to the receiver.
- Launch EZCast, select the SSID of the receiver, and connect it.
- Navigate to the settings page, select 'Internet', and connect the receiver to the Internet.
- Check the ? icon on the monitor to verify the receiver is connected to the network.

3. Using the EZCast App to Upgrade
- Ensure your mobile or computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi as the Receiver.
- Launch EZCast, choose the upgrade option, and confirm it's linked to the receiver.
- The app automatically checks the current version status. If the most recent version is available, agree to update to complete the system upgrade.

RF Exposure Statement (Receiver):
To maintain compliance with FCC's RF Exposure guidelines, this equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance of 20cm from the radiator to your body. This device and its antenna(s) must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
SAR statement (Transmitter):
This device meets the government's requirements for exposure to radio waves. This device is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission of the U.S. Government.
The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6W/Kg. For body-worn operation, this device has been tested and meets the FCC RF exposure guidelines for use with an accessory that contains no metal and positions the device a minimum of 5mm from the body. RF exposure compliance with any body-worn accessory that contains metal was not tested and certified. And use of such body-worn accessory should be avoided. Accessory available in market and must be used to keep use distance 5mm from EUT to body-worn operation.
