About EZCast Pocket
The EZCast Pocket is a wireless display adapter system consisting of a Transmitter (TX) and a Receiver (RX). It enables users to wirelessly mirror content from their devices to a larger screen.
Transmitter (C-1 or H-1)
The Transmitter allows users to easily mirror their laptop or mobile screen onto a larger display. It is ideal for video watching, gaming, and sharing ideas.
There are two models:
- C-1: Features a Type-C connector.
- H-1: Features an HDMI connector.

Receiver (R-1)
The Receiver displays the content transmitted wirelessly from the EZCast Transmitter onto a large screen, such as an HDTV or projector screen.

How to Mirror
- Install the Receiver: Connect the EZCast Receiver to the HDMI port on your TV. Power the receiver using an independent 5V/1A power adapter.

Plug and Play: Connect the EZCast Transmitter to the Type-C or HDMI port on your laptop or mobile device. Wait a few seconds until the flashing light on the transmitter stops, indicating it has started mirroring automatically.
Note: When using the Transmitter H-1 (HDMI connector), connect the Type-C port on the transmitter to an independent power 5V/1A adapter.
- Stop and Restart Mirroring: Press the "Mirror / Pair" button on the transmitter to stop or restart the mirroring session.
Note: EZCast Transmitters support mirroring for all laptops (including Windows and macOS) and Android mobiles with DP Alt output. To reset the transmitter to default settings, press the reset button for 5 seconds.

How to Pair Transmitter with Receiver

Turn on Pairing Mode for the Receiver:
- Power up the receiver using an external adapter (5V/1A).
- Plug the receiver into the HDMI port on the monitor.
- Press and hold the reset button on the receiver for 2 seconds. Release when the screen displays "Release the button to pair with EZCast".
- Press the Mirror / Pair Button on Transmitter: Connect the transmitter to your laptop or mobile. If using the Transmitter H-1, ensure the Type-C port is used for power. Press and hold the "Mirror / Pair" button on the transmitter for 5 seconds to complete pairing. The screen will show "Ready to pair". After successful pairing, casting will start automatically.
Note: The reset button on the Receiver has two modes based on press duration:
- Press for 2 seconds: Turns on pairing mode for the Transmitter.
- Press for 10 seconds: Resets the Receiver to default settings.

OTA Upgrade

Download EZCast App:
- Plug the receiver into the monitor and use the Type-C connector for power.
- Scan the QR code with a computer or mobile phone, or visit www.ezcast.com/app to download the EZCast app.

Connect to the Receiver:
- Connect your mobile's or computer's Wi-Fi to the receiver's SSID.
- Launch the EZCast app, select the receiver's SSID, and connect.
- Navigate to the settings page, select "Internet", and connect the receiver to your Wi-Fi network.
- Check the icon on the monitor to verify the receiver is connected to the network.

Using the EZCast App to Upgrade:
- Ensure your mobile or computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the Receiver.
- Launch the EZCast app, select the receiver, and confirm the connection.
- The app will automatically check the current version status. If a newer version is available, agree to the update to complete the system upgrade.

Regulatory Information
NCC Statement
The NCC statement in Chinese is a regulatory notice regarding low-power radio frequency devices. It states that without approval, companies or users must not change frequency, increase power, or alter the original design characteristics and functions. The use of low-power radio frequency devices must not affect flight safety or interfere with legal communications. If interference is found, the device must be immediately suspended and improved until no interference occurs before continuing use. Legal communications refer to radio communications operated according to the Telecommunications Management Act. Low-power radio frequency devices must tolerate interference from legal communications or industrial, scientific, and medical radio frequency radiation electrical equipment.
FCC Statement
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

This product has demonstrated EMC compliance under conditions that included the use of compliant peripheral devices and shielded cables between system components. It is important that you use compliant peripheral devices and shielded cables between system components to reduce the possibility of causing interference to radios, television sets, and other electronic devices.
RF Exposure Statement (Receiver)
To maintain compliance with FCC's RF Exposure guidelines, this equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body. This device and its antenna(s) must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
SAR Statement (Transmitter)
This device meets the government's requirements for exposure to radio waves. This device is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission of the U.S. Government.
The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6W/Kg. For body-worn operation, this device has been tested and meets the FCC RF exposure guidelines for use with an accessory that contains no metal and positions the device a minimum of 0mm from the body. RF exposure compliance with any body-worn accessory that contains metal was not tested and certified. Use of such body-worn accessory should be avoided. Accessories available in the market must be used to maintain a use distance of 0mm from the EUT to the body-worn operation.
