Overview
The EZCast Pro Dongle II enhances existing hardware and software with its new technology. It features a 802.11ac 5G 2T2R transceiver, providing faster and more stable Wi-Fi performance.

Installation Guide
1. Connect the EZCast Pro Dongle II to the TV's HDMI port and connect the USB power adapter. ?
2. Select the TV's input source to HDMI. A menu screen will appear on the TV after booting is complete.
On-screen instructions will guide you through the connection process. Please follow these steps:
- For Windows or macOS, download the EZCast Pro App from ezcast.com.
- For Android, download the EZCast Pro App from Google Play.
- For iOS, download the EZCast Pro App from the App Store.
3. Connect to the Wi-Fi ? SSID displayed on the TV screen and enter the password ?.
4. Launch the EZCast Pro App and connect to the EZCast Pro Dongle II to begin casting.
EZCast Pro Dongle II with Native Mirror Function
The EZCast Pro Dongle II supports Miracast and AirPlay, allowing users to stream video without installing any applications.
1.1. Android
I. Tap the ? icon and select the corresponding SSID ?. Ensure your device supports the Miracast protocol. The casting logo may vary across devices.
II. After connecting, users may see the Mirror screen ? on the external display.
1.2. iOS
I. Connect your iOS device to the EZCast Pro Dongle II from the Wi-Fi list, or connect both the iOS device and the Dongle to the same WAP (Wireless Access Point).
II. Tap the ? icon and select the corresponding SSID ?. Ensure your device supports the Miracast protocol.
III. After connecting, users may see the Mirror screen ? on the external display.
1.3. Windows
I. Open your Windows settings menu, then navigate to Connect and select the corresponding SSID ?.
II. After connecting, users may see the Mirror screen ? on the external display. Display options include Duplicate and Extend.
1.4. macOS
I. Connect your iOS device to the EZCast Pro Dongle II from the Wi-Fi list, or connect both the iOS device and the Dongle to the same WAP (Wireless Access Point).
II. Tap the ? icon and select the corresponding SSID ?. Ensure your device supports the Miracast protocol.
III. After connecting, users may see the Mirror screen ? on the external display.
Multi-screen Broadcasting with ProCast
Users can use one Laptop ? to display on multiple external screens. Note that Multi-screen is only supported on Windows and Mac.
Do not open the EZCast Pro App and ProCast simultaneously.
Before using Multi-screen, ensure all EZCast Pro Dongle II devices connected to external displays are using the same Wi-Fi ?.
Please note that as the number of connected devices increases, lower bandwidth may affect performance. For more details, please visit our website.
- Download the ProCast App from website and install it.
- Launch the ProCast App, and you will see the Dongle's SSID ? for connection.
- Click the ? icon to see the Mirror screen ? on the external device.
Download EZCast Pro App
We have created the EZCast Pro App for multiple platforms. With the EZCast Pro App, users can perform custom configurations for the Dongle, including Wi-Fi ?, Split Screen ?, etc. Please refer to the following information for function guidance. We will explain more details in later sections.
3.1 Android
You can download the EZCast Pro App for Android from Google Play or website.
3.2 iOS
You can download the EZCast Pro App for iOS from the App Store.
3.3 Windows
You can download the EZCast Pro App for Windows from website.
3.4 Mac

EZCast Pro App Introduction
The following sections introduce the built-in functions of the EZCast Pro App. Please note that some functions are limited to specific operating systems.
4.1. EZNote
With EZNote, users can view the content being shared from all devices on the display screen and then take notes directly on their own mobile devices.
4.2. EZKeep
Users can review previously saved notes in EZKeep. In addition to browsing notes, users can also add bookmarks, edit note information, leave comments, delete notes, etc.
4.3. EZChannel
EZChannel aggregates the most popular online videos on its homepage, including movies, TV series, and news updated 24 hours. In the top right corner, users can find an HQ/LQ toggle button, which allows switching between High Quality (HQ) and Low Quality (LQ) video.
4.4. Photo
When a mobile device is connected to the EZCast Pro Dongle II, users can browse photos stored on their devices. The EZCast Pro App also supports a slideshow mode with four time interval options: 3, 5, 10, 30 seconds per photo.
4.5. Camera
The camera function ? allows the EZCast Pro Dongle II to transmit the user's camera feed to an external display.
4.6. Music
Stream audio ? to the output device. Please note that when streaming music to an external display, the EZCast Pro Dongle II only accepts one device as the audio source.
4.7. Video
Stream video content ▶️ to an external display. Please note that when using the video function in split-screen mode, all connected devices will be disconnected from the network display mode.
4.8. Document (iOS only)
View documents ? within EZCast Pro, which supports major document formats including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft files, and Apple's Pages, Numbers, and Keynotes.
4.9. Web
Users can browse web content ? within the EZCast Pro App without needing a third-party browser. To provide a better browsing experience, the EZCast Pro App includes web portals like Google, Facebook, Yahoo, YouTube, and more. Users who already own an EZCast account can log in first and browse their saved bookmarks.
4.10 Cloud Storage
The EZCast Pro Dongle II integrates major cloud storage services ☁️ like Dropbox and Google Drive. With this function, users can browse, edit, delete, or manage cloud storage without leaving the EZCast Pro App.
4.11. AirView
When AirView mode ?️ is activated, users can see all external displays on their own device. This function also allows users to select their preferred refresh rate. Please note that users may select their preferred refresh rate in the settings menu.
Setting ⚙️
In the settings menu, users can perform custom configurations for their EZCast Pro Dongle II, including Wi-Fi ?, language, device name, etc.
5.1. Scan 5G SSID and Connect ? ?
Connect the EZCast Pro Dongle II to the desired network by selecting the SSID ? and entering the Wi-Fi password. After setup, users can utilize wireless functions such as online video streaming and web browsing.
5.2. Language
Supports major languages such as English, French, German, Chinese, etc.
5.3. Device Name
Users can set a new SSID ? for the EZCast Pro Dongle II and decide whether to display the SSID on the standby screen.
Please note: Before disabling the SSID function, ensure the EZCast Pro Dongle II is connected to a Wi-Fi router ?; otherwise, it will cause the EZCast Pro Dongle II to lose its wireless connection. Users will need to perform a factory reset ? for the EZCast Pro Dongle II to regain wireless connectivity.
5.4. Resolution
The EZCast Pro Dongle II automatically selects the appropriate resolution for the user. This function also supports manual selection.
5.5. EZAir Mode
The EZAir mode is specifically designed for iOS devices, including iPhone and iPad, allowing users to utilize Apple's AirPlay function.
Users can select "Mirror only" to mirror the screen content, or "Screen Mirror + Video Streaming" to transmit screen content and audio to the external display.
5.6. AirView
When AirView mode ?️ is activated, users can see all external displays on their own device. This function also allows users to select their preferred refresh rate.
5.7. Castcode Control
When powered on, users can Mirror ? their screen by entering the code displayed on the standby screen.
5.8. Max Connection
The host can set the number of devices allowed to connect to the EZCast Pro Dongle II. The default setting is 8 users.
Please note: As the number of connected devices increases, lower network bandwidth ? will affect each user.
Advanced Setting ⚙️
Admin settings are designed for advanced users, including IT professionals, network administrators, and others.
6.1. Link Status
With this option, participants can view information for all devices connected to the EZCast Pro Dongle II, including detailed information such as device name, IP address ?, and role.
6.2. Conference Control
This function is for host users only. With host permission, users can configure each device or grant permissions for their transmission space, disconnect all devices, or assign host permissions to others.
6.3. Device Management
a. Language
Supports major languages such as English, French, German, Chinese, etc.
b. Device Name
Users can set a new SSID ? for the EZCast Pro Dongle II and decide whether to display the SSID on the standby screen.

6.4. Network Management ?
a. Scan 5G SSID and Connect ? ?
Connect the EZCast Pro Dongle II to the desired network by selecting the SSID ? and entering the Wi-Fi password. After setup, users can utilize wireless functions such as online video streaming and web browsing.
b. WiFi IP Setting ?
With this function, the EZCast Pro Dongle II will set the default IP Address, Netmask. For advanced settings, users can manually configure the IP address, Gateway, Netmask, and DNS for the EZCast Pro Dongle II.
c. WiFi Password ?
Set the Wi-Fi password for the EZCast Pro Dongle II. Users can decide whether to hide the Wi-Fi password from the standby screen.
d. WiFi Channel ?
Users can manually configure the Wi-Fi channel, such as country, channel, and bandwidth. Please note that users cannot change the Wi-Fi channel when the EZCast Pro Dongle II is connected to an external router.
6.5. Admin Setting
In this section, premium users are allowed to issue digital certificates for the EZCast Pro Dongle II, configure SNMP ⚙️ for large-scale device deployment, update the EZCast Pro Dongle II via OTA server, and more.
a. Admin Password
Set a new administrator password for the EZCast Pro Dongle II.
b. WiFi Enterprise
The Wi-Fi Enterprise function allows users to upload digital certificates.
c. Host Authority
Specify host user permissions, including conference control, tool management control, network settings control, and reboot control.
d. Internet Access Control
The EZCast Pro Dongle II offers three options for internet access control:
- All allowed: Any device can access the internet via the EZCast Pro Dongle II.
- Casting users allowed: Devices casting via the EZCast Pro Dongle II are permitted internet access.
- All denied: No device is allowed to access the internet via the EZCast Pro Dongle II.
e. SNMP
IT administrators can use the same configuration for multiple EZCast Pro Dongle II units simultaneously, thereby increasing IT management efficiency.
f. My Screen ⬆️
Allows users to select a background image according to their preferences. Please note that the updated file must be in JPEG format, smaller than 3MB, and at a resolution of 1920x1080.
g. OTA URL ?
IT administrators can facilitate the use of the OTA URL function for deploying new firmware versions to multiple devices at once.
h. Connection ?
The EZCast Pro Dongle II offers three different methods for devices to establish a connection:
- Via Router Allowed: Devices can connect to EZCast Pro via a router.
- Direct Link Only: Devices can connect to the EZCast Pro Dongle II via a Direct Link.
- Via Router Only: Devices can connect to the EZCast Pro Dongle II via a router.
i. Upgrade ⬆️
Upgrade to the latest firmware via this function.
j. Reset to default ?
Resets the EZCast Pro Dongle II to factory default settings. Please note that upon confirmation, all your configurations will be reset.
6.6. Reboot ?
Reboots the EZCast Pro Dongle II to resolve issues.
6.7. About
Displays detailed information about the EZCast Pro Dongle II, including SSID ?, Firmware version, Internet IP address ?, MAC address, and more.
Split Screen Mode ?
Depending on the number of connected devices, the host user can divide the external display into half, a quarter, etc.

Mirror ?
Users can transmit signals using the Mirror function. Please note that in Mirror mode, video is projected to the external display, while audio plays from the mobile device.
Privacy Setting ?
Users can configure access permissions for your applications, including photos, camera, cellular data, notifications, etc.
For data collection functions such as Google Analytics, users can decide whether to enable it for the Dongle.
