- Carefully read each step and follow the correct sequence of operation.
- Place the device on a flat and stable surface to prevent tipping, which could result in damage or unusability.
- Position the device as close as possible to an accessible wall outlet.
- Do not disassemble, modify, or repair the device yourself to avoid electric shock, injury, or damage.
- When emptying the basket, moving the device, or not using it for a period, ensure it is turned off and unplugged to prevent fire or electric shock.
- Do not use flammable liquids, gases, water, or cleaners to clean the device.
- Avoid using the device in high temperature, high humidity, or dusty environments to prevent fire, electric shock, or malfunction.
- Do not shred tape, carbon copy paper, fabric, plastic film, etc., to avoid damaging the machine.
- Do not damage or process the power cord, and do not place heavy objects on the cable.
- If smoke or odor occurs during use, immediately turn off the power and stop using the device.
- Do not use the shredder or power cord if it is damaged or defective.
- Do not shred greeting cards with sound chips or batteries.
- Ensure the mains plug or appliance coupler, used as a disconnect device, remains readily operable.
Important Safety Introductions Before First Use
This equipment is not intended for use by children.
- ⚠️ WARNING: There are sharp blades inside the machine. Exercise caution to avoid injury.
- Do not put hands or hair near the shredder's feed opening. If hair is accidentally sucked in, use the "reverse function" to remove it.
- Keep clothing, ties, necklaces, sleeves, jewelry, etc., away from the feed opening.
- Do not use flammable liquids, gases, water, or cleaners for cleaning to avoid fire accidents.
- Do not touch sharp edges to avoid injury.
- Keep body parts away from moving parts. Unplug when not in use for extended periods.
Shredding Capacity:
- Manual-Feed: Maximum 8 sheets at one time.
- Auto-Feed: Maximum 100 sheets at one time.
One folded sheet of paper equals 2 sheets of paper.
Tip: Using heavier or higher humidity paper, or a power supply with voltage lower than rated, may reduce shredding capacity.

For safety, the shredder operates only when the shredder head is correctly positioned and the supplied basket is in place.

TIPS: ONE FOLDED SHEET OF PAPER EQUATES TO 2 SHEETS OF PAPER
Using heavier or higher humidity paper, or using a power supply with voltage lower than the rated voltage, may reduce the shredding capacity.
Operating Instructions
- Open the Flipper and secure it in place. A "click" sound indicates it is secure.
- Plug in the power cord and set the main power switch to ON (-). Move the control switch to the AUTO position. The power indicator light will turn green. Diagram showing plugging the power cord into a wall outlet, setting the main power switch to ON, and moving the control switch to AUTO.
- Organize papers: For auto-feed, remove staples, paper clips, and clamps. The manual-feed can handle staples, paper clips, and plastic credit cards. Diagram showing hands removing staples from paper.

Wastebasket Full
- A flashing green paper indicator light signifies the need to clear paper debris.
- The bin full indicator light turns off when the wastebasket is opened.
- After cleaning and reassembling the wastebasket, a solid green bin full indicator light indicates the shredder is in standby mode.
Auto-Feed Jam
- Set the control switch to REV and pull out the jammed paper.
- Open the Auto-feed connecting plate lock and remove jammed papers. Feed them into the manual-feed opening for shredding. Diagram showing the auto-feed connecting plate being opened and papers being removed.

- Properly reassemble the auto-feed connecting plate. The power indicator light will turn green, indicating standby mode.
Tip: Tidy paper for auto-feed. Separate and reorganize jammed papers, then feed them back. Re-feed wrinkled paper into the manual-feed.

Manual Feed Jam
- Set the control switch to REV and pull out the jammed paper.
- Move the control switch from REV to FWD for 3-5 seconds. Repeat 2-3 times for severe jams. Diagram showing the control switch moving from REV to FWD.
- After separating jammed paper, shred it again through the manual-feed opening.

Note: Manual feed opening shreds ≤ 8 sheets at a time.
Overload
- When the overload indicator light flashes red, the manual feed capacity has been exceeded. Set the control switch to REV and remove excess paper.
- After separating paper, place tidy paper into the auto-feed opening and wrinkled paper into the manual-feed opening.
Note: Do not shred paper through both openings simultaneously.
Overheat
When the overheating indicator light turns red, the shredder has exceeded its maximum shredding time and needs to cool down. Allow the shredder to cool for at least 40 minutes after turning it off before resuming operation.

When the fault light turns red, it indicates an automatic feed abnormality. Remove, sort, and reinsert the paper.
Note: The auto-feed opening cannot shred files with staples, paper clips, or bound documents. Remove these items before shredding.

Warning: Failure to properly maintain your shredder will void the warranty.
Oil the shredder blades with 3-5 ml of shredder oil every month using the following procedure (FIGURE 1) to ensure longevity.
Oiling procedure:
- Turn off the shredder.
- Apply shredder oil at the manual feed opening.
- Press the REV button and run continuously for 3-5 seconds.
Note: Lubricant oil not included.

- Do not spray or store aerosol products (cleaners, flammable liquids, gases, oils) inside or around the shredder.
- Do not use compressed air cans to clean the shredder.
TIPS: Only use professional shredder lubricant packs like Bonsaii Shredder Lubricant 24-Pack (LS24) or 12-Pack (LS12). Shredder lubricant sheets are not included.
Disposal:
This machine is classified as Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) under Directive 2012/19/EU. The crossed-out symbol on a rubbish container indicates it must not be disposed of with general waste but handed over to a designated collection center for proper recycling or disposal.

This machine complies with EU Directive 2014/30/EU ('Electro-Magnetic Compatibility') and 2014/35/EU ('Low-Voltage Directive').
Packaging materials are selected for environmental friendliness and recyclability. Dispose of packaging in accordance with local regulations.

Limited Warranty
Warranty Period: Machines are covered by a 2-year limited warranty. Cutters are warranted for 2 years from the original retail purchase date. The warranty is non-transferable.
Money-Back Guarantee: Bonsaii offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for manufacturing defects or unmet expectations. Notify via email within 30 days of receipt for return or replacement. Refunds are processed via the original payment method. After 30 days, a 20% restocking fee may apply, and shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. After 60 days, the product is non-refundable.
Returns for Damaged Products: Notify within 48 hours of receipt. Keep all packaging for inspection. Investigations may take days, but replacements will be processed promptly.
Defects or Damages: Contact customer support with order information and issue details. Videos or photos may be required. If defects are confirmed, a replacement will be sent. If no defects are found, correct usage instructions will be provided.
